Anyone buy a 2021 GCL and not have any problems so far?

Every thread is complaints about the the 21 GCL and how horrible the quality is. Has really scared me into second guessing myself about getting one. Has anyone actually had a complaint free experience so far? Is anyone happy about their purchase? TIA for comments.

1800 miles on yet another Overland- no issues. ( knock on wood) Sadly forums sometimes are places to vent and find answers to problems- you rarely hear from those who are good and just browsing the threads ( and I have been on the other side seeking answers plenty of times- just not on this rig at least! )

Overland w/ the tech packages and 10.1 nav - just had the wireless CarPlay problem but a reset fixed it. Going next Friday to check for the TSB updates.

1000 miles on an Overland, have had minor issues:
  1. Initial transmission issue: https://wljeepforum.com/index.php?threads/interesting-first-highway-drive-transmission-pulse.324/
  2. CarPlay connection: https://wljeepforum.com/index.php?threads/uconnect-apple-carplay-issues.223/page-3#post-2241
  3. Seat memory: https://wljeepforum.com/index.php?threads/limited-l-forgetting-memory-settings.305/post-2145
  4. Odd paint spot: https://wljeepforum.com/index.php?threads/dull-spot-in-paint.405/
  5. "Check rear seat": shows on the cluster every time I turned off the car, even with nothing in any of the seats. Assume this should be dependent on weight or something in the seats, since the window sticker describes it as "Rear-seat object alert"
  6. Parking brake assist: haven't done an actual test running into cardboard or something, but even less than a foot away with it sounding a steady tone, I haven't felt the car brake at all yet.
  7. Initial start sound: when first starting the car, there's a loud low rumble. It's been mentioned elsewhere, but it sounds like the speakers to me.
After that first transmission issue we had all the TSB updates installed that were available at the time (8/6/21).

No problems on my Summit but I only have 700 miles.

The only complaint is that there is nowhere to screw the tow eye in if you need a tow.
It looks like the Trailer Tow group is standard...if you ever need to be pulled from the rear, you'd rather use the Class 4 hitch receiver than a screw-in eye bolt.

Summit reserve - had since the first rollout end of July. Absolutely love it and no issues with 1500 miles. My dad has a limited and had a transmission light the first week but was just software. Go for it and you'll love it !

2021 Limited with 2200 miles on it. Had it for a month. Only issue is the side mirrors make a squeaking sound around 50 mph. That’s all.

I already leave a tow hook in my trailer hitch. That doesn’t cover the front though.

Hey, Pep_594. There's a remedy for this concern, but you will still need to see a dealer for diagnosis. Send our team a private message or you can work directly with your dealer regarding repairs.

1500 miles on Overland with 0 problems. Had many new cars but even with all the extras this is quiet, well put together and says quality.

Limited here. Under 1000 miles, as I don't drive much.

So far, everything is running well. Did have a weird sound issue the other day where the front left speaker was going up and down in volume like it was trying to do the volume speed control. Turned it off and on, and it was fine.
