Dull spot in paint

Definitely have to get the lighting right, but wondering if anyone has any idea what this might be?

Something to do with the shipping process residue, something with the clear coat, something with the paint?

I've only tried some quick detailer spray and bug and tar remover so far, and neither did anything.

Crisis averted. Not sure what it was, but a bit of Meguiar's Scratch X seemed to take care of it.

I always use a clay bar and then wax.

I had something similar but more severe and I’m getting The door repainted under warranty.
