didn't take the deal yall, they quoted me one price for my trade then turned around and dropped my trade a whole $5,000. taking about the whole market value of car. blah blah blah. my sales person is going to call me today to see what they can do. so we will see. so.... you know I'm mad i didnt get to pull into my office building in my new SR
Damn... Did they ever put your original trade value on the bill of sale when you ordered?? Or was this just a verbal appraisal?

it was just an agreement, I wanted to trade the car that day 1/22/22, they said no... "take the car home but don't drive it, we will do the deal when the jeep gets here". so here we are 3/31/22 and they are telling me the car doesn't have the same value, and its true.... carvona offered me $48,500 for my charger BACK IN JANUARY. I only owed $34,000 , but now as of today carvona is offering me 44,500, and I owe $32,000 still a win win, but its the principle! give me the deal we had before when I wanted to trade the car in. now that the value is not as high they are like we cant help you. sucks because I brought two cars from them, and got all my service done. they are not the closest to my home. but I will see today because my sales person is mad his manager did that. he's going to talk to the GM and see if they will honor the $48500. and wants me to come in to join the convo.

Unfortunately that is happening more often than not because the prices were so out of control for awhile. I hope they can do something for you but it is definitely an uphill battle. Fingers crossed.

Great info, thanks very much.

It is not looking good to special order the 2-row Grand Cherokee I want for long-term ownership as a 2022 model.

My speculation is that I will instead be special ordering a 2023 Grand Cherokee.

There is zero delay on my part. Jeep, I am ready when you are.

Jeep, we DON'T need to retain FOUR shades of black exterior paint color for 2023! Jeep, please restore Sting Gray color, on the Grand Cherokee for 2023.
This is what I am thinking too. I just hope that they don't plan to completely phase out the Hemi for the 2023 2-row models.

That is a bummer!!! My dealer didn't even want to appraise my vehicle until the Jeep delivery since used car prices will likely change. Obviously, they were right. Check Carmax. They give the best prices for tradeins. I checked Carvona and they were thousands below Carmax. Good luck my friend and know I feel ya!!!

I dont know if you have tried the third party sites like driveway, carvana...I got a tradein offer of 28K for my 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio. Went through driveway.com and they gave me 33700 without even looking at the car, everything was done over text messages and they paid off my lease and ached my equity even before they picked up the car.

I think it depends on the car and location. I'm pretty sure Carmax was consistent or lower value than Caravan when I priced mine out awhile ago.

Chrysler Capital just posted the MF and RV for Wl's this month, and it has gotten worse. Tier 1 36 months for both gas and PHEV WL is 0.00159 at 57-53% RV. It goes lower on the 4xe's and on the nicer trims. The mf was .00136 last month.

Def starting to become a big pill now...since leasing is not really cheap anymore. Idk US bank's or anyone else's lease rates though.

A topic was created detailing my thoughts on why an EV in not appropriate for me.

Better for comments to be posted in that topic.

Well, last week my Summit finally came in. Gave up waiting for the 4xe. Love it so far. I am going to powder coat the wheels black and am debating trying to black out the emblems and trying to figure out how far I want to go. There is a LOT of "chrome" on it. However, the chrome on the Summit is more of a satin platinum look rather than shiny. Normally, I would think if you black out the emblems you need to black out ALL the chrome, but I don't know on this one. It is the Baltic Gray. Thoughts? Ideas?
