So Harmon Kardon built the touchscreen/radio hardware, same as WK2 platform and many other FCA models. Harmon builds the entire system from radio to amplifier. But McIntosh licensed their speakers and sound processing directly to Jeep/Competitor? Seems illogical.
Propaganda states “McIntosh MX950 Entertainment System”. So the words system mean speakers, maybe an amplifier, no touchscreen/radio, no software as Jeep has engineering authority over software, McIntosh could only provide EQ settings/Time delays and logos to Jeep. The logos and likeness of McIntosh must mean “system” these days. The 6x9” speakers in the doors cost $35-60 my cost. Cheapest McIntosh speaker in history.
Seems very fishy and deceiving at the least.
