Glad to hear production started, though! Gives others hope!
My GCL Summit V6 went into D1 status yesterday (ordered 7/9) - Est. ship date 9/30. Jeep chat informed me that my GCL will be build with air ride suspension. However, considering how badly Jeep has been handling this issue, I'm not getting overly optimistic. I'll update as soon as the build sheet is available.
Good luck, I’ve been in and out of D1 status for over a month. Dealer told me yesterday back in D1 status but now they have a sunroof shortage… seems to never end.
Yes it can.
eLSD was available only on the initial units produced in June. Recent shipments do not have it. Its possible special customer orders would still get it, but dealer stock orders are not being shipped with eLSD.
You will probably to get QL, they have not been deleting from SR or V8’s, only on Overland/Summit V6’s.
So it is possible to see it on the build sheet and then not actually get it? That’s super disappointing.

You'd see it on the build sheet (as a credit) and the window sticker as well...
Ahh ok. No credit on the build sheet and it is being prepped for shipping. Keeping my fingers crossed for the window sticker. Thanks!
How long did it take to go thru the build process once the parts were gathered?
unfortunately that is not correct anymore, they aren’t shipping anything with QL right now, just went through this myself and chose to pass on buying it, now I’m waiting until 2022
You may be right eventually, that’s where they may be heading.
But as recent as 9/10 they have been shipping Overland V8’s an SR V6’s with the QL.
If you find a window sticker with a SR or V8 including the delete/credit, please share.

Got this update from my Rep this AM and confirmed from the dealer the vehicle entered production today.
"Currently your order is in the build process. The completed vehicle should be ready for shipping soon I will continue to monitor the order and work with my logistics resources to have your order expedited whenever possible. At Stellantis, you can be assured that we take vehicle quality seriously. I will provide you with an update when the information becomes available to me."
SR V8 Ordered July 9th.
Does anyone else have an idea on timing from this point forward? I'm thinking 2-3 weeks min.

Does it show a build sheet available online to you yet? I'm still hoping mine is in the same batch since ordered same day. What color did you get, I did the white with black top?

No build sheet yet. I ordered Black.
Not to burst your bubble but I think the two tone colour option is causing delays. I ordered a SR v8, silver and black on May 8th I’m still in D!
Here is what my dealer is telling me!

Our gcl altitude was officially ordered august 24. Baltic gray with sunroof and tow package added. Dealer got back to me today and said “I checked the status, looks like it still hasn’t been shipped yet. Its getting close, another few weeks it should be here! “ . Not quite sure what stage of the build it’s in but these comments here aren’t making me very optimistic lol

It will be a while. I ordered a Silver Summit Reserve V8 May 24th. It went into production about 3 weeks ago and is STILL in paint. The only reason I think it went into production is because I was able to get in touch with someone higher up at FCA. Everything is causing a delay right now. I am hoping to see mine by the end of October...
