Mine was shipped the 14thWhen is your est. ship date? Ours is the 18th but we will see.
That's great! When did you order yours and what model? Also is it a V8?Mine was shipped the 14th
My complaint isn't really the fact that they pulled the eLSD, it is more around principal that it wasn't conveyed to me. I was told some BS line about Jeep making the car cheaper because the 2022's were about to come out. That is what pissed me off. I can order another from another truthful dealer. So, I get what the complaint is, that you order something you don't get ... but I think it is overly dramatic when people are willing to cancel an order because they are not getting eLSD. My other vehicle is a JK Rubicon, and it has standard differentials, not eLSD ... and it will out wheel just about any vehicle off road. The traction control uses the brakes, and there is no wheel spin as with standard diff. I ordered the GCL, and like everyone else, tried to get the off road package, but couldn't. But really, anyone wanting to go rock crawling should probably order the wrangler, not the GCL in the first place
I ordered a limited V6 on 7/20That's great! When did you order yours and what model? Also is it a V8?
You're saying that you ordered on July 20th and it shipped August 14th? If so, that's really fast.I ordered a limited V6 on 7/20
with or without eLSD?GCL Overland with V8 build complete last thursday, shipped with ETA 8/26-9/6

I just ordered mine beginning of August, got the Vin number and its a M (2021) summit reserve V8... still in scheduling phaseI doubt you would get a 2021 even if you ordered today. I ordered mine May 8th and it is not even scheduled to build yet. It was scheduled and then moved back to gathering parts. V8, summit. Who knows if it will ever come in.
Yeah .... from the point I had a VIN to the point I had a build sheet ... was about two months. It seemed like it stayed in the state you just described forever, then things started happening over night. If your experience will be like mine ... you still have a few weeks to wait. Keep the faith. I used this link daily to keep my sanity:Ordered mine July 9th. GCL Overland Summit V8.
Received VIN the following Monday the 12th and was notified by dealer car was in D Status.
Still in D Status according to my dealer, I opened a case with Jeep (last week on Aug 12th) and this is the response I got:
Currently your order is in the scheduling phase of the manufacturing process. The parts required to build the vehicle are being scheduled and as soon as they are available and ready, order will be scheduled for build. Most orders are scheduled for build within 30 days after reaching this stage.
we will work with our logistic resources to ensure your vehicle order is expedited and prioritized.
We encourage you to periodically stay in touch with your selling dealership for additional order updates as they become available. We will also offer new updates as details become available.
We do appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time and thank you for being a part of the JEEP family.
I just called in again today and they have no update, no idea what the timeline "could" be. They know nothing. told me to call back but would definitely NOT have any useful info. We are for sure getting close to the 22 model orders coming out (thought Jeep has no idea on that either) and I'm not too keen to buy a last minute model only to have it immediately be last years model.
I'm getting pissed! I've owned 5 Jeeps now, this will be my last if Jeep doesn't give me an actual update by end of the week. This model was delayed even before COVID hit, now its just absurd. @JeepCares I hope you see how many people you are starting to make very upset.
