Lemon Law Update #2 - Moving forward with legal action. Good info for eveyone with a uconnect issue

So, this morning I called Jeep (4th call with no callback) only to be told that "the lemon law team has reviewed your claim and is denying your lemon law claim." Keep in mind the vehicle is currently in the shop, again. The uconnect issue remains unresolved after 4 visits and more issues...

Dang it I wish I read this thread before buying mine last Dec. Mine was built in June 2021 and I’ve experienced 8 of these issues.

The worst of which is the collision system auto-activating with no other cars around. It’s startling and dangerous. Happened 3 times (once at medium sensitivity while driving ~50mph, the other two at low sensitivity while rolling up to a red light). Dealer tested it and had no fix for it. I’ve learned to just deal with the u-connect issues since the dealer can’t fix that either. The service 4wd started at 300 miles, issue was corrected per the tsb, but it started up again recently at 13000 miles. I have another annoying issue not on your list, which is over head trim pieces falling out constantly. Brought it to the dealership for its 1st oil change with a list of these issues and they had it for ~2 weeks. Service guy said everything was addressed, but the new trim replaced under warranty fell out again on the way home. Took that as a bad sign— all of the other issues are still happening. Will take it to a different dealer to take another look at all this stuff.

Definitely not happy with this purchase.

Can they even verify the the collision system activated? It seems like there should be record of a lot of these things (especially emergency systems). That sort of thing should trigger a buyback after one event, nevermind three, and all the other stuff. They really screwed up with this thing - the '21 models especially.

FWIW, this is my current list of issues (attached). There's more that's not on there - a lot of things happen once or twice and then not again, and I've forgotten a lot of them. The whole thing is a total electrical nightmare.

Jake22's Picture was taken at 230 Copperstone Ln N, Sicamous, BC. The nearest dealership is Braby Motors. I doubt he works in the service department seeing the house is valued at $699,000 and his mugshot isn't on the website. His attitude strikes me as an "owner's son" type of attitude...

I do like the house.

Doesn’t matter the current value. Matters what one paid. The public record of a deed would tell you :)
