Lemon Law Update #2 - Moving forward with legal action. Good info for eveyone with a uconnect issue

So, this morning I called Jeep (4th call with no callback) only to be told that "the lemon law team has reviewed your claim and is denying your lemon law claim." Keep in mind the vehicle is currently in the shop, again. The uconnect issue remains unresolved after 4 visits and more issues continue to stack up. An example of yet another issue was when my air suspension system failed yesterday while driving.

@JeepCares
I can say without question that I've been polite, collaborative, and patient with Jeep. I've opened a customer support case as well as a star case. I've also created extensive documentation and done troubleshooting with and for them. In short, I've tried my best. That being said, the effort has not been reciprocated. In addition to them being unable to resolve the uconnect and other issues, Jeep has been completely unresponsive and really does not seem to care that my vehicle has had this many issues. I've literally begged them to get me with someone who can help figure to a resolution and they just don't care. It's a bummer because I've had 6 jeeps now and this one will be my last.

After Jeep told me my request is denied I contacted several lemon law attorneys. After interviewing several I've settled on a firm in Cleveland that has extensive experience with Jeep. I'd highly recommend anyone who continues to have issues with their vehicle to reach out to them. They are experienced and very helpful. As of today, I am moving forward with legal action against FCA. Here is the attorney's contact information - he works nationally.

Fingers are crossed. I hope that all goes well. It must be very stressful but there will be the end of the tunnel. Please keep us posted.

Thanks for the contact info, I will likely be calling them given Jeep corporate's snail pace.

In my car the dealer showed me his code reader that showed 5 separate electrical modules reporting codes. Have you asked your dealer to show you all the codes? Given as we own these vehicles, we are entitled to see all of the information the techs pull up. It may be helpful to your attorneys if you got screen shots and copies of whatever codes they are showing to demonstrate that Jeep is not diligently pursuing the full extent of the repairs needed. This could go towards bad faith, negligence, etc, which could help your case.

Good luck on your claim. I have tried lemon law in Texas denied a 5th time for my service 4wd light and as long as the vehicle works they will deny you. Jeep wont give in. Make sure the agent gives all the claims in one bc they have issues submitting their claims correctly. I had to get a lawyer.

Does the lemon law state that the vehicle must be inoperable? I haven't spoken to an attorney yet, but based on what I've read for Wyoming (which is mostly copy pasta for other states) the requirements are 3 failed attempts at the same repair, or more than 30 days out of service.

It seems geared toward the car being 'viable transportation' mechanically, so I'm not sure how they look at electrical problems that don't prevent the car being driven. I would however say that the
nonconformity "does not substantially impair the use and fair market value of the motor vehicle" in that there is no navigation, no stereo, etc.
