dang I can see that too, too many angles and tight spaced may be hard to make it perfect. a computer cut would be the solutionI've just gone through this with the guys over at https://cactustint.com/
I've done PPF and window tint on 4 cars now and I just got the WL74 SR back a couple weeks ago. I too was looking for a solution to cover/protect the piano black. They only were able to put a satin PPF over the main screen (which does help reduce glare and finger prints) but they weren't able to put PPF or wrap on either of the center compartment lids or the area around the shift knob. Just too intricate and they didn't think they could create a clean edge. They think that eventually, they may be able to find a pattern they can use so that the film/wrap could be computer cut to fit, but they weren't able to find anything now. Maybe the after-market will come with a ppf or wrap pre-cut for us, but for now, I'm leaving both compartment lids open to prevent the scratching.
