Got an email from Jeep Customer Care yesterday with an estimated delivery date of 3/24 for my SR V6 (ordered at the end of January). Hoping that sticks, and would be at 8 weeks from order to delivery.

I also reached out after seeing the post about a 4xe in paint. They told me it's still waiting for parts (status D). I ordered my 4xe on 12/27 so I'm skeptical as well... so for me it's pics or it didn't happen 😆

I was told just now
"I can see all the required materials for your order have been gathered and the plant has sequenced your order for production, it should be entering the build very soon!"
mind you I placed my order for my SR (V6) 1/22/22 things seem like they going fast for me!!! :love:

ETA: Cry.…Still gathering parts.

Hi all,

I just factory ordered a 22 GC yesterday, and was wondering how I can get build updates and order progress like everyone is posting? Will these automatically come in my email? My salesperson didn't seem to know, and seemed like it was his first time doing a factory order 😲

NICE!!!! congrats!! you need to get the VIN from your sales person, he should have that less than a week. then hit up the jeep chat and tell them you want to know the status of your build, then they will update you.

I hope it is a short-term impact, but the truckers lining up on the Ambassador Bridge is definitely impacting the factories, 6 have shut down already, thankfully my truck is complete and released (theoretically) but this will definitely create some delays.

Is this confirmed? The report I read today indicated the factories in Canada were being impacted, and, specifically for Stelantis, just the Pacifica factory. However, the US ones were unaffected b/c southbound good flows were open —only northbound lanes were blocked.

Who knows, I just know the supply chain certainly doesn’t need anything other challenges right now.

Same here on a Summit Reserve. Ordered before Thanksgiving and still awaiting parts. Looks like the 4xe might be getting moved to front of line if they are being built with much later order dates.

Mine was in that status 6 weeks ago, contacted 2 weeks ago and it was back to gathering parts. Moved backward In status. Same build SR V6, Velvet Red. I did add the only three option packages available, just not the upgrade to V8

Jeep prioritizes the Wrangler 4xe builds and I assume will do the same for the Grand Cherokee 4xe.
