Wind whistling with windows down

Anyone else notice if you're cruising around 60+MPH with windows down, there is a wind whistling pitch towards front passenger side?

Do a search, there is a TSB that involves silicone caulk. I elected not to do it because it seems like a redneck engineered solution to an aerodynamic design flaw.

I searched under "TSB wind" "TSB silicone" "Wind noise" and there were no posted cures, just owners saying there is a whistling noise. Can you send or copy the cure thread please?

I've now found a simple fix for the whistling mirrors! I used the rubberized Gorilla tape over the "whistle-like holes" in the mirrors and the whistle is 100% gone. It's a simple 10 minute fix.
1) fold the mirror in and you'll see 2 square holes.
2) cut the rubber tape to the contour of the plastic part you can see.
3) apply tape over the holes, then extend the mirror back out. DONE and whistle is gone!
Here's the photos of before & after.

This is much easier and cleaner than trying to fill the vertical part with silicone, as it says to do in the TSB. Unless I'm seeing the TSB wrong, you would never be able to fold your mirror in after is was siliconed in that location.

I'll have to try this. I've notice the whistling only on the driver side and it's embarrassing trying to show off my new GCL. LOL

I just did this today. Haven’t driven it to see if it works. I’m sure it helps.
