Who has ordered a 2022 GCL?

I ordered my '22 GCL SR on 11/29 and had not been advised by the dealer about any possibilities of deletion issues, I didn't even know it was a thing. I read about it yesterday and contacted my dealer who got back to me regarding my concern and agreed there might be an issue. They said they were going to contact Chrysler regarding QD (I didn't know about eLSD until reading it here). How are all of you checking the status of your builds? I haven't heard anything from Jeep yet, and have no VIN, but it has been over a week, it sounds like many of you have been able to check your status. I don't have a VIN or an order number....

I don’t think anything is being deleted on the 2022 Summit Reserve. The towing package and Quadra lift air suspension have not been deleted and several people have stated they are getting the eLSD on their vehicle. You can’t check your status without a VIN or VON.

This is copied from another poster:
Go to Jeep.com —> contact us —> contact us (again) —> and then hit the chat icon.

The Jeep chat will then pop up and they will ask for stuff like name, phone number, email, addresss and then will ask for VON or VIN. Once they have some info they can then tell you your status however they won’t able to say if it’s in C or D status. It’ll be vague like “parts for your vehicle are still being gathered”

Here's the direct link to the Jeep Chat where you can check on your Jeep. As mentioned earlier, you will need your VON (Vehicle Order Number) and your VIN. To get your VIN, I asked my dealer about a week after placing my order for an updated POC (Purchase Order Confirmation) which then listed the VIN number.

You don’t need VIN and VON. Either of them will work. You also don’t get an update POC they just go in and check to see if VIN has been assigned.

As other have said just go on jeep chat. You just need to give name, phone number, email, address and VON or VIN. Ask them what the status of your 2022 GCL build is and they willl tell you. I ordered on 11/24 and I’m still in C with no VIN. You will be there for a bit. It looks like lately most are spending around 2 weeks there. Could be longer, could be shorter who knows.

Thank you all! I thought for sure yesterday I was going to cancel... I asked my dealer for the VIN and got it this morning, chatted with Jeep and they said that both eLSD and QL are both included in my build, they said to check back next week for more status, but I am super happy again :)

So
Here's my Build Sheet. It shows elsd and air suspension.
So I see you got Palermo Leather... For some reason, the order sheet my dealer gave me says Laguna Leather, though I've been unable to find any information about Laguna Leather other than it being in the '21 Trackhawk on display in the dealer's lot. Dealer had no info on it either... Don't really know know if what I have is correct, but odd that it would be wrong...

My POC also stated Laguna leather as well, so it might be something with the POC system 🤷‍♂️

If you got a Summit Reserve you got Palermo leather. It’s in the 22u for V6 or 25u for V8 package.

Wow, just over a month....I'm thinking some palms have been greased!!! You have to be happy with that news !! And my Aug 9th SR V8 order (changed to '22) still has no VIN. Maybe it's because it's a Canadian order....on jeep.ca we cannot order a '22 L yet.

I would absolutely offer to go pick it up if they credited me the destination charge :)

If I didn't live in CA and had time, I would toss that plan out there to save the $1,695.
I live in NJ and I'd do it. Be a good break in. I'm in contact with the developers of the stop/start disabler that I use on my '19 GC HA and they offered to pay my travel expenses if I drove the '22 to West Virginia so that they could get their product working on an L, will probably do it as I despise stop / start.

That's awesome that they would pay your way. I also do not like the auto Stop/Start features of vehicles and plan to turn that feature off.
