Those have been my thoughts and sentiment to others for awhile now! It's a cheap one way ticket to Nashville and they (Gupton folks) will pick you up from the airport too. Renee is the lady you are supposed to deal with but I have seen several say she can be hard to get ahold of. My sister and neighbor both went directly through Daniel Gupton (yes, related somehow to the owners of the dealership).
I would just send an email with both of them on it.

I was informed about a week ago from my salesperson @ Gupton that they only offer a 4% discount on the GCL. They will honor the 1% below invoice tread lightly discount and add another 1% for financing through them for 7 billing cycles. So that would be a total of 6%. Was being told it would be 5% for quite a while then all of a sudden they said 4%. The 5% is for the wrangler and gladiator. This is from 2 salespersons @ Gupton. There is some confusion if you use the True Car discount as well. Still working on that one.

Well that sucks, they must be in high demand at the moment. My next door neighbor heads up to Gupton this week to pick up his Wrangler and apparently he can now get up to 8% off through military discount. So vehicle shortages and pricing issues are obviously no longer a thing if Gupton is back to offering the steepest discounts (albeit stacked up in circumstances that won’t be normal) on the most popular model Jeep sells.

I have read multiple times on the JLWranglerForums that there have been folks that got the 1% off for finance through them but didn’t need to actually finance through them. They said when the tim came their own financing was much better and Gupton waived that requirement. Worth asking them about that.
