stop/start disabled seatbelt warning after startup

I'm seeing a warning on my Overland when I press on the brake after rolling out of the garage in drive. It says something like "stop start not available, driver seatbelt not fastened" and it chimes at me. Anyone else seeing that here? I'll try to catch a picture of it when I leave the garage next.

oof, sorry I forgot to mention my seatbelt IS fastened when this warning goes off. The normal seatbelt warning does not go off, just the start/stop warning.

Joe John,
Have you had the seatbelt and start/stop issue resolved? I’m also having the same issue where is states “driver seatbelt not fastened” and a warning message with the auto start/stop disabled. Have a Grand Cherokee L Limited with a 1000 miles. This is our second Cherokee L, our first was a Laredo that ended up have an electrical seizure a few hours after leaving the dealership. We were told it was a battery issue, they had the car two weeks trying to diagnose it, only to be told it was an anti theft system issue. The next day the check engine light came on! The dealership was awesome took it back and gave us the Limited. But now concerned it might also have some crazy electrical gremlin? Hoping it’s an easy fix, the wife loves the car!

Mine does that but I thought that it just took a while for everything to load up properly. I tend to jump in and go. It hasn't prevented to stop/start from working on mine.

My start stop only works if I have been driving a ways, like at least 5-10 miles. I only have 300 miles on the Jeep. Should it be working from the get go?
