I've noticed that before, too. I thought it just came on by itself because the autosensing function is turned on in Uconnect, so maybe it was just 'always ready to wipe', but that doesn't seem to be the case. My car is such a nightmare of electrical problems it's impossible to tell how it's even supposed to function vs crazy defects.
