Also, it looks like the Rhino Rack company offers towers that are a bit lower than Yakima/Thule/OEM. I would have gone that route but didn't have time to wait for them to ship (vs buying Yakima locally). Just use the Compass landing pad bases to attach.

So I finally found a photo of a Compass with the Rhino Rack 'low rise' RCL towers, and they do look to be about HALF the height of the Yakima, Thule and OEM Thule bars, for those interested. (The WL uses the same 'landing pad' kits as the Compass). The bars would sit at the same height as the platform in the photo, which looks to be at least 2" lower (allowing larger roof boxes in to garages)

I've just ordered a set of the Rhino Bars so I'll update with photos when I get them installed in a week or so.

Yes. Silver or black. I'm also planning to see if my Yakima bars will fit the Rhino bases (they have a better aero shape IMO, but they reportedly do not fit). But Rhino offers the aero bars in both colors (I ordered silver).

I'm still waiting on the lower Rhino Rack bars, but here's a couple photos of the Yakima CBX 18 loaded on the Yakima bar setup. I'd prefer a lower profile box, But this gives room for at least six pairs of skis/poles/snowboards and maybe some avi packs.

This one looks pretty good. But I've already bought another crossbar and have been happy with it as well.

Whatever suits, my 'search' is just to try to have the box as close to the roof as possible (without interfering with the sunroof), so I have as much clearance as possible to get into my garage, parking garages, etc, because my roof box is pretty big, and to make it easier for my wife to be able to access the gear in the box.

The wheels are the WK2 80th Anniversary 20" OEM wheels (fit perfect, no spacers, no issues, same dimensions as WL wheels, bought used on ebay). Better/cleaner photos below. The above photo is at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (home).

The tires are stock size Michelin X-ice SNOW SUV. Best handling snow tires I've had in 30 years. Much better in the dry than Blizzaks (not spongy, handle about 90% the same as all season tires, with better/equal snow grip to the Blizzaks and older X-ice 3 tires in the snow). The new Michelins also use the same rubber compound for the whole tread depth, so they'll remain good on snow ice a winter or two longer than the Blizzaks do.

@Sarge ... They look great. I was looking for a set, or an aftermarket really, of the Durango Tow n Go wheel but not 10". Sadly so far no luck. These are really close and fit the appearance/lines of the WL nicely.
Do you have a part number for these by chance? Tried to locate online, not having good luck. What would you describe the color as, might it be close to the Hyper Black or more grey?

I don't know the name of the color, but it's true to the photo. It's sort of a semigloss dark gray, not black, which is one of the reasons I chose them for snow tire setup, because black always looks dirty in winter anyway. I also like the fact that they're not just plain black, like people have been putting on every other car for the past decade, they're a little different.

With any wheel, I'd take a set of OEM wheels that have not been refinished, as every time I've bought 'repaired' wheels the clear coat ends up flaking off or the paint/finish is just nowhere near as durable as the factory finish. These wheels can be a little tough to find, but there's usually a set on ebay at some point or another. I paid $1,200, used, which is probably a little more than refurb wheels, but I know I'll be happier down the road.

FYI, I recently ordered the Thule Evo Flush mounts and Evo Fit Kit 6120 (sometimes also referred to as 186120) to go with my 53" Wingbar Evo from my old vehicle. Both the Thule site and my local retailer's site suggest this is the correct fit for my 2022 GCL. Unfortunately, the bracket that gets bolted to the flush rail is too tall and results in the bars/feet floating above the rails. There's like a 5mm gap between the rails and the bottom of the feet/towers. There's no opportunity for vertical adjustment.

I assume there's something wrong with the design of the fit kit, unless someone has successfully fit this kit?

Nope -- I exchanged a handful of frustrating emails with Thule customer service. They kept suggesting I was installing them wrong, but couldn't point to what I was doing wrong. They then escalated the matter but I never heard back from the supervisor/manager and gave up. I decided I'd take a chance and see if the Rhino-rack feet would fit the Thule wingbar -- they do even though everyone will tell you they don't (although very minor grinding of the nut that slides into the Thule track is needed as it's just barely too wide). I'm still waiting on the Rhino-rack fit kit though to mount them to my Jeep because there's a continent wide backorder. Ugh.... I plan to post photos once I've recieved the last parts and mounted. I'm hesitant to say with certainty it all works until it's mounted.

So I had the exact same problem with Thule 6120 fit kit - it’s about 1/4” too tall and doesn’t sit flush.

The strange thing is that the instructions seem to suggest a gap is normal? If so it sure looks terrible… seems like I made a bad choice.

Anyone have a different Thule fit kit that might work?

Brightlines roof rack on 2021 GCL Limited.

Just returned from a long road trip. I chose the brightline roof racks off of Amazon.

Installation was relatively simple, but I recommend using thread lock on the bolts that tie the crossbar to the bracket. I lost one bolt due to it rattling loose. Might have been my fault overlooking a final hand tightening.

Everything held together over 12 hours of highway speeds, and some gravel backwoods roads.
