Random problems

Love my GCL…however I am having a laundry list of problems:
1) Speedometer shows 50 in park
2) UConnect volume stuck
3) SXM screen freezes
4) Navigation screen freezes
5) CarPlay suddenly disappeared.
6) UConnect system randomly shuts down and reboots.
7) Easy exit/entry seats unresponsive.

A couple of times the system has rebooted while I was driving through DC and Philadelphia and depending on the navigation.

These are all intermittent but persistent problems that resolve spontaneously. Some resolve in a matter of minutes, others not until the following day. I have taken this all to my dealership who continues to unsuccessfully attempt to replicate these. I am returning later today…yet again. I am so far unsuccessfully trying to get them to replace the entire UConnect system. I do have photos and video documenting most of these problems.

Does it seem more issues at with the 10” screen for uconnect software then the 8” ? More tech, more problems ?

The uconnect restarting is most likely a voltage drop. It is very sensitive to voltage changes. Happened twice in the first couple days of ownership. Hasn't happened again. Put the instrument cluster into the screen showing the various temps and voltages.

I've noticed an intermittent issue with the Easy Entry/Exit Seats as well. Some days they work, and others it doesn't. Quite annoying.

Have you brought this to the attention of your dealer yet? If not, we recommend doing so at your earliest convenience so they can pinpoint the cause of the issue. If you need further assistance after, please send us a private message.

I had similar issues with the UConnect system. I took it to the dealer and they performed a software update. So far two weeks with no problems. They also fixed the "Service 4WD System" warning message.

I have had the service 4wd issue, lane assist, start/stop, no power to the power outlet in the back. Called the dealership Cannot take me until Sept 22. Not impressed in the least. Thinking I should have kept my old SUV with 115k less issues.

Sept. 22? What are they nuts? You should tell the dealer where to go. Take it to a different dealer.

I know the owners of the dealership and am going to call them. 56K for a vehicle that is a pain in my ass and have to wait a month to have it looked at. Oh and they have not fixed the nick in the paint I told them about and supposedly fixed. 1629821388189.png
