Quadra-Lift Air Suspension No longer Available

Air suspension is the name of the game for me. I actually sent a certified letter to Chrysler HQ and someone actually called me! I told him I will not accept my car without air ride. We will see what happens Monday. That is the day it will finally go into production according to him!

What day did you order?

Yeah this just confirmed my decision to cancel my hemi order in lieu of a early production allocation that was spec’d with eLSD and all the other accoutrements. Saved 3k and gained everything else I expected .

WTH is the difference btwn active and semi-active? Works half as good or only works half the time lol?!
I would imagine just from understanding how other brands do it the difference is probably
active dampening adjusts dampening based on speed, yaw, throttle, actual road conditions in addition to the drive mode or ride height
semi-active adjusts dampening based on drive mode or ride height selected but has a fixed value for each of those settings

Has anyone figured out if its the full air suspension system being eliminated on Overland? Or a lesser version of it, still able to be raised/lowered?

So here is a Overland equipped without Air Suspension. What is interesting is that the drive modes are also completely eliminated. I am guessing that the drive modes were tied into the air suspension. This is such a disappointment. Jeep needs to figure this out asap. I am guessing the chips used for the Air Suspension are now being allocated for the Grand Wagoneer that has recently entered production.

You guys need to take a deep breath…

This is the same story with all manufacturers - you can’t get memory seats, engine start/stop, among other things on the Tahoe - it is what it, there is insane supply chain shortages on everything - deal with it…it is all I am dealing with at work and it is completely out of the manufacturers control…wait to you see the shipping charges reflected on the sticker soon…

The air ride & off-road for me was the only reason to get the overland - can’t get either now and saved $20k with the Altitude

The O/L only gets Qt2 in 4x4, this model is 4x2.

I was lucky enough to buy a fully loaded Summit Reserve off the showroom floor a couple of weeks ago. I traded a 2018 Wrangler in and got the L. I had an order in for a 2021 Bronco and the issues Jeep is having with component supply is nothing compared to Fords issues with the Bronco. A couple of days after I bought my L, Ford switched all unbuilt Bronco orders to 2022’s.
Im so glad I got the L I absolutely love it. I am also keeping my order for the Bronco though and I’ll decide what to do once it’s built.
As for Jeep just taking items off of orders, unfortunately they don’t care if you buy the car or not, they have so many issues that they have to build what they can or just close up shop which will not happen. If someone doesn’t take their ordered L, the dealer will just sell it to someone else. Supply of cars is so limited someone will buy them…harsh realities of the current market.

I want Jeep to sell every L possible, in any form it can make them. It's the best way to shake out bugs & glitches and pushes aftermarket suppliers to get us gear (I'm looking at you, Weathertech!).

I have just under 1,400 miles on mine now and had the updates done before I took delivery. So far so good…no real issues other than CarPlay very rarely glitching but that happens to me in all my cars so it’s not just Jeep with those issues.

Taking mine in next Friday to verify if the updates were done. Wireless CarPlay doesn't appeal to me: battery burns out quick and non-stop wireless charging cooks my phone. Wired solves both these issues.

Hello, I too am glad that I picked up my overland early August. I have been contacted by some dealers that I inquired about a new overland and it appears to be valid that the quadra-lift suspension is in fact being removed. Here are some pics that were sent to me with window sticker of the overland and a picture of the center console with the physical switch missing. I hope this helps those who may be on the fence about buying one by ordering or one off of the lot.

WOW --- I just compared this sticker with my own Overland 4x4 ... which I do not even have yet, and here are some discrepancies beyond the air shocks:

Mine is coming with trailer towing standard. This sticker shows $695 for trailer tow prep
Mine has these standard interior options, that are also missing from your sticker:
2nd Row Buckets with Manual Easy–Entry Slide
3rd Row 50/50 Power Folding Seat
Driver–Seat Memory
Air Conditioning with 3–Zone Automatic Temp Control
