Build sheet show eLSd And Air suspension. Window sticker shows no deletions or credits so pretty sure all is as it should be

I think the whole deletions thing has been blown pretty far out of proportion. First, I don’t think there have been any confirmed deletions on any GCs delivered in the last several months. Second, I believe the confirmed deletions were all on GCLs. And third, I think they were all on 2021 models. If anybody knows different, I’d like to hear about it!

So, I finally got the window sticker for mine (GC 2-row SR V8), and it shows a delete for electronic limited slip differential, with a credit of $400. That is not something I was informed about or agreed to, so that may be cause for me to now cancel my order. I don't honestly know how much that will make a difference in traction performance, but I absolutely do not like being sold something that's incomplete and different from what I ordered. It's the principle of the matter.

Damn. Deletes on the highest trim with the biggest engine. That's some bullshit, @JeepCares

Ordered my Limited on Feb 2. (corporate lease) They told me 8 -12 weeks for delivery. It has been built, shipped and plated. Now the wait game to see how long it sits at the marshalling center.

That is how I stated it would be when I placed the order. If any deletions I would not accept the vehicle. Mine is a V6 and the build sheet lists the eLSD and no deletions or credits on the Window Sticker so assuming my SR has everything as specified and listed on the build sheet. As far as I know it has not shipped yet. Maybe by the weekend If it can catch a truck coming this way. At least it’s not waiting on a train ride.

Ordered my GC SR on 1/21. Received VIN a week later. Got an email from Jeep stating the expected delivery date is the week of March 2nd. Cryptostickers sent a notification on 2/14 that my Build Sheet was found and on 2/15 that my Sticker (window) was found which should mean my vehicle is done and awaiting shipping so we'll see. I was able to download both the build sheet and the window sticker and the info. matches what I ordered. Not a fan of dealing with the dealerships. Really wish you could just order online and go.
That’s awesome. I ordered in November, no email, no build sheet no correspondence from anyone. I’ve been calling Jeep Chat and my dealership. Did you have to sign up for emails?

Well, I'm officially backing out of my deal. The unapproved component delete is just not cool with me, and with chip shortages now seeming to take a turn for the worse again, my fear is that I would end up needing replacements for defective components that would take weeks, if not months to arrive, a fear I see is already being realized by some on this forum.

I went in and talked to the sales manager today, and showed him the window sticker, and fortunately there was no fuss at all. I'll just have to go sign a document once it arrives at the dealer stating that I refuse delivery for the reason of an unauthorized component delete, and they'll switch it from a customer order to an inventory order. He said they'll even refund my deposit, which I honestly didn't expect. My dealer is honestly great to work with, it's Jeep/Stellantis that has the customer care problem at this point. I'm just gonna wait a while to see if things will settle down a bit in this crazy world before I risk ordering again.

No. The only email I received arrived in January, almost two months after the order was submitted. Jeep Chat actually provided me the VIN about 4 weeks after the order date

My 2022 GC L Summit was delivered in February with the rear limited slip diff deleted. Air suspension was not deleted, however.

Deletion of a standard item on the vehicle you ordered (without your acceptance) is unacceptable. That would cause me to request return of my deposit. DO NOT ACCEPT LESS THAN WHAT YOU ORDERED. Legally you will be in the right. Giving you $400 for an item that must cost thousands of dollars will cost you when you go to sell the vehicle. How about you offer to give the dealership the $400 to add the eLSD. Do you think they would accept that?? They would laugh in your face.

Now I am worried. IDK if they will remove features on the 4xe ( when ever it comes ), but if it is anything less then complete, I will back out. It would be a shame as I feel like I have been waiting for my chance at a WL for about a year now.
