Opinion Needed

So: I have an Overland with what I can tell so far is no issues expect for the wireless CarPlay connectivity weakness, which is irrelevant to me because I use a wired connection.

My question: should I go to the dealer and have them perform this first batch of updates? Or should I leave well enough alone and wait for a legitimate service need? I have an appt 9/10 as of now. Part of me thinks 1st batch updates aren’t much better than original software…

We did go in and get the first round of updates and they were helpful. The update took care of a hard shift/shuttering shifting issue and also took care of an odd problem that had begun where the car would once in a while put itself in park when stopped at traffic light. I'm not sure what other issues the update took care of, but it was an improvement for ours.

Is there a way to see if our GCL was updated? We just brought it home lastnight.
