Navi-Screen too bright?

So is does everyone else’s dimmer wheel dim both the dashboard and the connect screen at the same time when the lights are on and the settings option is set to automatic? Because I have confirmed that my dimmer wheel only dims the dashboard (speedometer...) and the auxiliary buttons back lights but does not dim the nav screen.
If I recall correctly, the wheel that dims the dashboard also dims the connect screen.

So a couple of updates:

First, I just had an over the air update and since then the dimmer scroll wheel now includes the nav screen brightness with the changes in brightness of the dashboard and other lighting as I turn the wheel—when in a certain mode. Let me explain.

All of the below is with the brightness settings set to “automatic” in the settings menu.

In the dark, with headlights set to automatic (And on)...works as described above which I will from now on refer to as normal since that is what we have all come to expect the operation of the dimmer wheel to include all screens and devices,

In the brightness of day, with headlights set to automatic (and off)...works as you would expect...all screens at full brightness and dimmer wheel does nothing.

But

with headlights set to automatic (and on) with a certain amount of light such as dawn getting brighter...the nav screen, dashboard (speedo...) and all other lighted buttons revert to “full brightness” setting and the dimmer wheel does nothing, even though the headlights are still on.

In the above circumstance changing from automatic headlights to running lights or manual headlights on will re-enable to dimmer switch to work as normal.

So

There must be some kind of sensor, independent of the sensor that turns on or off the headlights, there must be some kind of in-cabin light sensor that determines there is enough light to keep the dashboard at full brightness.

This

This is the thing that I have an issue with as I find it reverts the dashboard lights to full brightness too early as well as keeping them in full brightness too long I’m the evening.

So I think I cracked the code on something here.

As discussed above in my previous post, when in auto mode the nav screen goes into night mode when it wants to add separately from when the rest of the dashboard goes into night mode.

At first the dimmer wheel only effects the dashboard (speedo) and all accessory lights but NOT the nav screen.

But

All you have to do is move the scroll wheel up into the clicked on mode then down and now it will dim along with he rest if the screen/switches .

Not sure if this is a bug, or a “feature” but at least now I know.

Yup, that is EXACTLY what needs to be done. I was constantly playing with the LEFT wheel because I assumed it was supposed to dim everything.
My RIGHT wheel was all the way up, above the click and therefore, the screen stayed super-bright. One click down...ISSUE FIXED.

For clarity, I am not talking about it being locked in the daylight brightness mode.

I am talking about the screen going into night mode, but still being at the highest of the night mode settings and not changing brightness when moving the scroll wheel, even though the dash and other lights do dim with the wheel.

Then if you lock it up into daylight brightness then dim back down, this “unlocks it” and now the nav screen will dim synchronized with the rest of the dash.

Now I’m a bit confused. There’s two wheels to the right of the headlight knob, what does each do? I tried to read the manual but it reads like there is only one knob.
