Is anybody else having an issue where the L forgets the memory settings? My wife has hers set and I set mine the other day, went into the truck yesterday, and memory settings were gone. It is also hit or miss getting the L to link the FOB to the memory position.....Anybody else experiencing similiar problems????

Mine forgot once too for some reason but now remembers. Just dont forget to hit the Set button and then click the #1 or 2. I'm sure having diff profiles and/or keyfobs may screw things up so make sure those are the same

I had had memory settings on my past 6-7 cars so I am familiar with the procedures to set them. I even had assist on the phone with me while trying to link the FOBS. I had to go thru the procedure about 10-15 times before it finally took. But then 3 days later, the setting are lost. My wife is mem1 and I am mem 2....

Mine keeps intermittently forgetting M2, which is my setting. Sometimes it remembers, sometimes it doesn't. Its at the Dealership today for that and a few other issues.

For me, the lumbar support keeps moving all the way up which makes no sense lol I keep lowering it and saving the setting every other day...

Hello, saleen032 and Druchala. Our team is happy to discuss this with you further and assist if you visit the dealer. Please feel free to send us a private message with more details.

Sounds like a seat control module, our 2020 Explorer ST was doing the same. It took two replacements to finally get one that worked without forgetting positions after a few days.

Need to test a few more times, but seems like the lumbar in particular isn't being remembered for me. Have had to reduce it every time I get in, though other settings seem to work.

Anyone talk to a dealership or @JeepCares? Expecting this to be fixable with a software update, or will they have to tear things apart? Feels minor but annoying...
I havent addressed this with the dealer yet. My wife primarily drives the L and it isnt a huge problem, just an annoyance, but when she does take it in for the first oil change, I will make sure we let the dealer know about all the quirks. More than likely it will just be a software update...

I was having weird issues with my Summit Reserve especially after switching to wife’s driver profile and back but seems to be better after doing a uconnect reboot. To reboot push and hold power knob until screens go dark (10-15 seconds I think) then wait for everything to come back. I’ve also done this when TomTom navigation won’t load, to resolve an issue with the stereo, and when Apple CrapPlay won’t connect after a few tries. Hopefully some gets fixed with an OTA update.

Having same issue on Overland. Every time we get in the car it moves the seat to the wrong position. Sometimes reclines all the way, sometimes over inflates lumbar, etc. Getting very annoying.

I just had this problem this morning, memory 1 changed but memory 2 stayed. Even verified with the other driver that they didn’t accidentally change the wrong memory setting.

I had the same problem with the key fob but seems to be working now after programming several times. @Boggswade I agree that @JeepCares actually does nor care as I have also sent DM's with no reply's.

Lumbar overinflating here too, and I have to reset every time. Other memory functions work. Will follow this thread in case there’s a fix.

Hi all.

There is a flash available to fix the memory settings concern that everyone has mentioned. Please visit your dealer at your earliest convenience to have this performed.
