Lemon Law Update - Jeep is crushing it...

My 2021 GCL SR was in the shop all last week while the dealer and FCA tried to troubleshoot the rebooting uconnect issue. Ultimately, the dealer called me last week on Friday and said "we don't know whats wrong and can't fix it, Jeep will not send a replacement radio" (Please refer to this thread... https://wljeepforum.com/index.php?threads/disconnecting-uconnect-im-done.1174/) So, instead of waiting till jeep figured out how to fix the problem, I decided to pick it up.

@JeepCares After formally requesting a lemon law on 1/6 (4 dealer trips with the issue not resolved) Jeep told me they'd call me back by Tuesday of this week. Waited till the end of the day on Tuesday and called Jeep, only to be told "oh yeah, nobody ever escalated your case like we said we would. We'll have someone get back to you." When I asked when I was told "sometime this week" still no call as of today.

Driving home today my air suspension system fails... Drove it right to the dealer and picked up my usual loaner, which I now drive more than my actual car. the vehicle also developed a squeal at idle now and I suspect it's a bad alternator or water pump.

You can't make this stuff up.

You absolutely need a refund or a replacement vehicle. You've met all the lemon law requirements.

If I bought a toaster oven with even one defect, it would get sent back. My fear, even if I get mine fixed, is the resale value is going to drop faster than a Range Rover in a couple of years as it becomes widely known how many problems they are having in this first year of production. And then imagine continuing down this road of constant random failures year in and year out. Nope nope nope. That's why the lemon law exists.

At the very least, a newer build date might hold its value better, if they have even solved half of these problems. I'm not convinced 2022 owners are going to be much better off, though. I like the idea of the vehicle, if it operated as promised, but we are not remotely getting the benefit of our bargain.
