Just been in contact with my dealer over 22s hitting the street and my 21 sitting ( freezing in MI).. I asked nicely for some off setting incentives. Waiting for the FU call.. lol just get me my Jeep man..

I just got my morning update from Jeep Chat. Maurice just told me they are waiting for parts for my buyback build. And he also told me they won’t start building GCLs until Q4. I guess that pretty much tells a lot about the validity of any information from Jeep Chats.

Q4? Didn't Q4 start back in October :) Sounds like Maurice deserves a response of "So what you're saying is......You don't know". I hope things start turning around for you 🤞

Lol classic Jeep chat, never mind the 22s that have already been built and shipped... they don't exist!

In other news, 2 weeks to the day my MY 22 Summit w/V6 moved from C to D status and finally got the VIN. 2 weeks seems to be the norm for this at the moment. I'm predicting it'll start building next week based off my builds priority.

My 2022 SR V6 had a VIN and D status the day after I ordered it(11/22). About 2.5 weeks later and I’m still in D.

Same for me -- ordered 10/16 SR V6. Still in D status. I'm guessing we'll probably all get switched to D1 at the same time, but seems at this point it won't be within the week. Based on timing of others, it seems the change to D1 happens roughly the week before build, so we'll be lucky if it gets built before Christmas at this rate.

How did your buyback process work? Mine so far has been a nightmare. Dealer offered me 13k under what I paid for a SR with 500 miles on it! Said thats what used ones are worth, such liars.

The dealer has nothing to do with the buyback process. The warranty is with FCA and not the dealer. Here is a link to the information on the Mopar page. https://www.mopar.com/en-us/lemon-law.html
My process actually has gone rather well until it didn’t. I spoke with a lemon law attorney who suggested I file an arbitration first. I filed an arbitration case with NCDS initially. As my case clearly fell into the NC lemon laws, Jeep actually agreed to the buyback pretty early on. My problems have been with the manufacturing process and everyone’s refusal to keep me informed about what is happening (or not happening) and why. Everyone I have spoken to has given me the same canned responses and have told me someone else is responsible, who in turn tells me someone else is responsible.
But more to your specific issue, getting Jeep to agree to repurchase my GCL according to the NC lemon laws has been relatively easy albeit paperwork intensive.

and just like that now I'm in D1 status. Tentative ship date is slated for 12/23. I suspect that will end up being sooner.

MY22 SR V8 - Got my VIN on 9/13. Confirmed D1 status with Jeep chat today, dealer says est ship date of 12/15. In metro Detroit so who knows maybe I do actually see it before Xmas.
