Jeep Grand Cherokee L order status updates….

Super jealous since I ordered a week later than you a 22 SR V6 and I'm still in the "gathering parts" stage. But good for you and happy to see the '22s coming out steady now!
Mine is also in the “gathering parts” stage. And no one seems to know what parts are being gathered or they refuse to say. Also, what does “gathering parts” mean? Are the parts in a warehouse across the lot or have they not even ordered them from the supplier.
I think I have figured out Jeep’s order priority system…each morning they put all the orders in a big Bingo-style drum and randomly draw orders to complete that day.
Seriously, this whole debacle has tarnished my opinion of Jeep. I understand supply problems beyond their control but am getting really fed up with the poor or non-existent customer service.

Your case is unique, you should have priority if it was a buy back.
So its weird that you are still in D

This is where I have been for 3 weeks... those side steps must be a bitch!! lol My Local dealer is not taking my emails or calls.. I plan on stopping by today, I am not frustrated on the wait, they told me up to 12 weeks we are on week 9.. I am frustrated on boiler plate talk and 22s being shipped... My dealer will probably say FU and keep it the vehicle a 21 Summit Reserve V8 with all options will probably sell quick anyway. I do have that option than order a 22 in the same configuration depending on $$$$$ difference

buy back builds BTW go thru crazy quality control.. so be patient, been there done that

Wow!! I’m happy for you but this is BS. @JeepCares? No it should be @JeepDoesn’tGiveADamn. I PMd @JeepCares yesterday morning. Late yesterday afternoon they messaged me back saying they are sorry I’m frustrated and telling me the VIN I gave them is not good. They asked for the VON and to double check my VIN. I double checked the VIN and sent them the VON. I didn’t hear back. I messaged them again this morning…still nothing. I have reached out to my repurchase coordinator and have not heard back from them.
I’m going from frustrated to pissed. I don’t like the delays, especially when other later orders are being completed, but I really don’t like being ignored.

Folks - last question for me. Once its been moved to shipping status, how long are we seeing until the units get to the ordering dealership? I think the sticker says it was shipped on 12/6

Try calling 877-426-5337. That happened to me too

It depends on how Jeep ships to your region/dealer.
They should be the ones giving you an estimated transit time based on any other L's they have received.

Thanks for that number. I called; they had a difficult time finding my order. Then pretty much told me what I already have been told over and over and that is that my GCL is waiting to be built.
I was able to get the current priority code. It is 01. It started as 99. Maybe someone on here has a clue what that 01 priority code means.

And @JeepCares finally got back with me. Their response? “Hi. After review, the order has been processed and a VIN has been assigned. The vehicle is waiting to be sequenced for production. We recommend staying in touch with your dealer for updates at this time.” So basically more of the same.
