Jeep Grand Cherokee L order status updates….

Has anyone else seen a status from their dealer / jeep chat that says there is no delivery ETA? My build was completed on 1/22 and invoiced (got a sticker and build sheet) but I can't get an answer other than "No ETA provided for dealer delivery" from anyone. I really have no idea if it has been shipped or it's sitting in storage at the factory.

I had the same for a couple of days before I got an ETA

Contact your dealer they should know.

What is the average people are CURRENTLY seeing for the time between order date and getting scheduled for build? It's now been 3 weeks for my 22 GCL Overland V8 and it is still in the "gathering parts" status.

Same! My build has apparently been sitting at the New Boston Rail for 12 days and I’m here in the tri state area. Currently no ETA when it’s being delivered. Makes no sense.

Yeah, that’s the weird thing — they give me the same answer (no ETA).
Ask your dealer for the last known location. They do have that information. My '21 that I ordered back in July sat in the BUDD YARD near the factory for over a month. It took so long for them to build and ship that I ordered a '22 and I'm picking it up from my dealer today. For reference, I ordered my '22 GCL on 12/21. Hope that helps!

If you're near Detroit, that probably means that they're going to truck it to your dealer directly from New Boston, rather than putting it on a train. It took about 2 weeks for them to get it to my dealer from my local train yard, but it was only in New Boston for like a day if that.

I’m in Delaware. I was under the assumption that they rail it to PA then a truck over to my dealer. I could be wrong…

Oh, you're right then, I just assumed that "tri state" is a term used all over the country and that you were near Detroit... it's probably going to Twin Oaks where mine went, just south of Philly. Are you sure it's been in New Boston for over a week? Only your dealer would know, they should have an eta for the destination railyard.

I text my salesman every other day for status updates. He mentioned last Saturday the status was the same. I’ll double check again today if it’s still in New Boston.

Yay! My MY22 GCL SR has been built and in transit! No deletes. =)

Edit: I got a copy of the invoice and the window sticker -- the MSRP went up from $69875 on the POC to $72060 the window sticker, while the *invoice* went up only $201. I don't know how FCA can justify a 10x MSRP increase for a $201 cost increase -- but I guess that's what they are doing.

My 22 GCL SRV8 is in transit to the dealership! Order date 12/20, build date 1/31, shipping stage on 2/12. No deletes on mine either. I’m curious to see what the EP price is compared to the $76k MSRP.

If you go by the MSRP on my window sticker vs the EP on my invoice, the difference is about 11%. Not sure if that helps, but it might give you a rough ballpark of what to expect.

You should not be charged more than the contract you signed when you ordered it, at least that's my point of view... What does your sticker say? I know folks here have gotten their stickers with the higher values and been told that they won't have to pay the higher, but if your sticker is the lower value, I'm sure you're good...
