Jeep Grand Cherokee L order status updates….

You should not be charged more than the contract you signed when you ordered it, at least that's my point of view... What does your sticker say? I know folks here have gotten their stickers with the higher values and been told that they won't have to pay the higher, but if your sticker is the lower value, I'm sure you're good...
MSRP on my order was $74k and the window sticker says $76k. My understanding is that the EP is based off of the dealer invoice, which I would assume is based off of the window sticker. I guess we will see next week when I pick it up.

So I have a GCL on order with estimated delivery the "week of 2/22/2022" per the US Customer Care letter sent to me about a month ago. Wondering if that date was still in the ballpark, I sent a message through FCA Chat this past Thursday inquiring the current status of my vehicle. They replied by stating it was in Trim. Friday, I sent another message about 24 hours later requesting the same information. Again, I was told it was in Trim. Yesterday, which was Saturday, I sent yet another message and asked about the status. This time I was told that my order had just left paint and was in trim. So my question is, does FCA Chat just estimate vehicle status? Or does this indicate some sort of parts issue or that a technical problem was discovered during diagnostics? Or is Chat not a reliable source of information?

As well intentioned as Jeep chat customer service is, they are limited as to details. I recently had a similar situation with my order. It got stuck in paint for over two weeks, and then suddenly Jeep chat told me the order was cancelled, and they advised me to contact my dealer. This freaked me out, but it wasn't the whole story and they just don't have access to it. After my dealer looked into it, we discovered they ended up creating an entirely new VIN and while the order was technically cancelled the new vehicle was built and was already in transit. The exact reason is still unknown, but our best guess is that it didn't pass quality inspection and they decided to build the vehicle anew.

The original estimate which was emailed in the welcome to Jeep email stayed the same as what the current estimate is, so I am hoping to get it in the coming week or two.

Just called my salesman today. Jeep arrived in Twin Oaks this morning! About 35 min from my dealership 🤞
Sadly, you'd think you'd get it tomorrow or something, but this is where the real wait has been with me and others here, and there's no more status updates till it gets to your dealer :( Took me about 2 weeks to get it the last 50 miles...

Oh wow. I hope that’s not the case for me.

Hi all,

Order a 2022 GCL summit on 12/30 and was notified by dealer and US Customer care that Jeep was to be delivered week of 2/16. That came and went and when I called dealer they said it’s done and waiting to get on a train. Typically how long is that wait period? When should I realistically expect to take delivery?

My 22 GCL SRV8 has been in the shipping stage for 2 weeks now just sitting in the storage lot 15 miles from my house and the dealership. The dealership delivery date keeps getting pushed back.

it seems the Build sheet website is down a lot the last few weeks
They are likely rate-limiting/blocking your IP address. I had this happen to me because I setup a service to poll the buildsheet app on an hourly basis, after a while it would block my IP. I was able to access the buildsheet service after I jumped on a VPN in a different country to validate this. After a day or two of me disabling my polling tool, I was able to check the buildsheet again without issue. In short, if you are checking it all the time -- it will temporarily block you for a while.

At this point I'm waiting for the customer service chat to do this to me lol. OK, not really.

But ordered 1/26 and still not scheduled, just want to at least read the words that it's been at least scheduled for build 😔

Hey guys,
Ordered my 22 Limited L with the Black out package, lux tech 2, tow prep, 10.1 and panoramic roof on 1/8. Jeep arrived at dealer 2/24 and finally got to see it in person. Picking up this afternoon once it's been prepped and paperwork is completed.

Nice, it sucks that the black out packages are not available for the Summit's. I'm really not into Chrome.

There is supposed to be a high altitude package released later this year. I would've waited for that but was told the interior would be the same as the summits and my wife and I are not fans of that stitching pattern.

I love the stitching, but prices went up 3K since I got mine, and honestly, they were already high.

Finally! I’ve had Grand Cherokees for 20 years and this one really blew my expectations! Drives amazing compared to my previous 2016 and 2018 WK2s
