Jeep Grand Cherokee L order status updates….

I did not order my GCL SR to spec, I did find one on a dealer “lot” that I’ve made a deal on. When I found it 3 days ago it said “ in transit”. Dealer said today or tomorrow it should arrive. It’s in Ann Arbor michigan very close to Detroit. Weather has been a slight issue yesterday and today. Question is, how long might it display “ I. Transit”. Does the mean it definitely left or it’s waiting to leave?

Also, once they receive when does in transit remove? I assume it’s a data feed. Is it end of day, beginning of day, random?

@Rxjoe You indicated the unit you are tracking is "I-Transit". I indicates unit built, Pending Final Inspection.

I don’t know where you’re seeing those codes. It’s not an I. This is on the dealer sit and I’d say it is in transit.

I see that now. I checked back and I said it correct at the top but didn’t catch that one. No worries. My question around codes is where do you see the codes that are listed at the link you shared?

Status updates on my 2022 L SR V8 order in metro Detroit:
12/21 - Order placed
12/23 - VIN received
1/20 - Status change to D1 with expected shipping date of 2/2/2022
2/1 - Framing
2/2 - Trim
2/3 - Vehicle has been built and is awaiting installation of accessories (I ordered the black side step rails). No shipping date available. Dealer shows it has been shipped to the body vendor.

Update 2/4 - build sheet available! No window sticker yet.

I spoke to the dealer again today. He says he sees it has been released from the yard but there is no ETA. Vehicle is in Detroit and dealer is in Ann Arbor. We’re talking less than 45 minutes. I assume it would got straight on a truck when there is a truck available? It’s been in transit for about a week.

-Received my VIN# on 1.11.22
-Jeep stated that all materials were on hand and the vehicle was getting sequenced for production on 1.24.22 and this status didn't change through 2.1.22
-Jeep stated that the vehicle has been approved for shipment but not scheduled today 2.2.22
-I received an email today from cryptostickers that there was an update to my order and that my build sheet was available today 2.2.22
-Original arrival was scheduled for 3/3 to the dealer, so we will see if that moves up to February

Window sticker made available on 2.3.22. No ETA yet

Just received an update from Jeep Chat that my '22 JGC SR has a dealer ETA of 2/18-3/1/22.

Assuming that -
1/8 - Ordered
1/11 - VIN Received
1/26 - Jeep Email arrives stating vehicle will be delivered week of 3/3 (Weird since that's a Thursday)
2/1 - Build sheet becomes available
2/4 - Window sticker becomes available
2/7 - Dealer ETA is 2/18-3/1

Just got my window sticker for my 22 SR and the price jumped 3k from my original order sheet from dealer. $75,630 from $72690. Crazy!

Curious what the dealer says on this….I signed a “contract” of sorts that seemingly locked the price in. Pretty sure there are loopholes you can drive a Wagoneer through, but, I hope the dealer stands behind the numbers he worked up.

I'm curious as well. I just received a status update to KZ from my sales person. I looked up my window sticker and the price is $2,000 more than what the signed contract price was quoted as.

Anybody else seeing super long shipping delays from the factory? I know trucking is crazy right now, but following others on here, it seems hit or miss. Headed to Koons in Northern Virginia so I'm assuming it'll go by train? Jeep chat always says no ETA and should be shipped soon. I never got a build date when it hit D1 on 1/13 so maybe they'll continue the trend and not give me an ETA?? Having a feeling I'll just get an email saying it's been delivered one of these days with no indication beforehand.
