Jeep connect app does not work

Anyone else getting log in error when trying to use the app? Jeep Cares has not been helpful at all. Have had the GCL limited for 3 weeks and no one can help. Have tried multiple phones. I can log into connect.jeep.com and am registered and vehicle is registered. Anyone have jeep cares fix this for you?

I have been able to get the app to work, but when I log onto the website, ti says all my jeep connected services have expired. I called Jeep Cares and they escalated it. A few days later they called my wife and said they fixed issue, but website still says services expired....

I can log into website with no problem, can see vehicle location and everything is good with website. Just cant log into app, they tell me its fixed but still doesn't allow me to log in. They have removed my vehicle then added it, uninstalled and installed app numerous times, deleted data and cache, restarted phone, tried app on other phones including my dealers service advisors phone. Jeep cares has been very unresponsive. They knew of this issue before we left the dealer when we bought it 22 days ago. They keep passing me from person to person telling me the same thing and apologizing. My dealer service advisor reached out yesterday saying they told him it was fixed, i informed him otherwise and asked when he wanted me to return the vehicle. Didn't get a clear answer on that one.

I’m having the same issue. My vehicle location cannot be found but I haven’t had a bunch of time playing with it. Also called to see about the market place and they said that it’s not live yet. So I guess I have to wait to have the apps

My unconnected and apple CarPlay only works on occasion.
I can not use hands free phone or play music from iPhone. Doesn’t matter if I’m on Bluetooth or cable.
kinda sucks!!!

Same issue with me. It was working after I paired it the first time. Then all of a sudden when I try to use the call through Apple car play there is no audio for the call. However, I have all other car play functionality.

I had the same problem with GCL. After several calls to Jeep Service I found that the app had changed with the GCL. Find the app with black square backdrop and white lettering "Jeep". Register that and you should be good to go.

They should have set it up for you at the dealership or guided you through it “Jeep connect “ app works fine for me but Alexa doesn’t find any vehicles when I ask her to start my jeep

I had a 2020 Grand Cherokee that I traded in for the GCL. The dealership had set up the app on the 2020, no problem. Upon buying the GCL, they used the same app. When that did not work, they used the Mopar app, which halfway worked. After contacting Uconnect services, they advised me to use the app that had a black square background and worded "Jeep". This app works.

Free trial WiFi works that’s about it. Nothing comes up on the Jeep app only the mopar website and it’s only a system description and nothing about your own vehicle. Why did they swap from the uconnect app.

@JeepCares how do I look at my vehicle health from your all new Jeep app? Only thing I can do is start/stop/locks/horn and the family/valet settings. Location never updates even after refreshing.

I am having the worst time trying to setup wifi /4g. Multiple escalated tickets with att. Get all the way through signing up and hit activate and gives me errors.

marketplace isn’t live yet…will be sending an email once it is.

Tried to do a software update off my home wifi to the Jeep, I don’t think it did anything

haven’t tried setting up the phone wifi yet…

Call Jeep Connect (hit the assist button in the car) to make sure you're connected. Make sure you're using the right app too. The Jeep app w/ black background, not the uconnect app. Marketplace and all the expected app functions work for me, but its confusing to keep track of all the connectivity services.

Thanks for the tip - that is who I called actually (2nd call of the day) they said it isn’t active? Something isn’t adding up…
