GCL Blackout Part Numbers

Has anyone done the research to identify the “blackout” parts from the Altitude edition?

I’ve found the relevant body parts, but the descriptions don’t include something like “chrome” or “black” yet to help differentiate the part numbers…. and unfortunately the “Altitude” trim isn’t updated in the parts catalog yet.

Hoping this thread picks up and helps others find the parts needed to do an OEM blackout too.

Anyone looking further into this or have a connection who can identify specific parts which would need to be ordered to "Black Out" a Limited model?

Would LOVE to do this and compare the costs to having everything wrapped.

Trying to resurrect this thread. Would be interested... but have zero clue what the different part numbers represent...

Just call a parts desk at a service shop, I did this for different wheels that had the same picture but different part numbers and no description...they were able to see more details such as color.

I’d be curious about the front lower fascia in gloss black, As well as the window trim. Would really complete the black roof look if there wasn’t a streak of silver in between.

Has anybody figured out the grill inserts and rear bumper for an Overland yet? I wish the website was a bit more detailed...

I've "Blacked Out" everything on my Black Limited L, with the exception of the grille items. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on 3 of the 4 (Black) wheels to arrive! I'm sure they're in a container about 1 mile off the California coast right now. I'll post photos of my Jeep when it's done, with wheels included. Hoping before March! So far, I've removed all Cherokee letters and Flags from the doors, roof rails are now completely black, window trim is black, front Jeep logo on hood removed, Front & Rear marker lights are tinted black, chrome bar trim above trailer hitch is black and rear Jeep logo is painted black. It looks good, but will be SO MUCH better when the wheels arrive! If anyone can get part numbers for the black front grille pieces, please send.

I got an Altitude. Plan to tint the windows darker!

Here's a couple photos of my '21 Limited. I'm still waiting on the Black wheels to finish it off. I'm hoping they arrive before Christmas.

The back JEEP logo and the trim piece on the roof rack is plasti-dip and looks good and held up well. I wrapped window trim and the chrome piece above the trailer hitch.

I was able to identify all the Altitude black parts except the two trim pieces on the underside of the side view mirrors. If anyone knows what they are please let me know!

appreciate this thread! Are you all doing the replacements yourself or taking them in? Is this diy possible for a somewhat handy beginner? I had the dealer wrap my wheels black but want to replace more of the trim.

I'm planning to do all of this on my Overland. Do you remember what the ballpark cost was? Also, how difficult was it to R&R all those pieces? Any tricks or tips would probably live on in posterity for years to come!
