Driver side seat clips

there are 4 clips on the underside of the driver seat that keep coming unclipped. There are two on each side of the front of the seat, sort of below the thigh bolsters.

Anyone else having a problem with these and/or taken to dealer to have them fixed? It’s easy enough to reclip them but they don’t stay clipped.

You mean the clips that are supposed to keep the leather upholstery in place? Mine won't stay on. They don't seem important.

Mine don't stay on either but what is odd is the passenger seat ones stay no problem.

If you decide to visit the dealer for this and need assistance, we are in private message.

Jeep is a total disgrace, they have failed to do quality control on just about every piece of the vehicle. This will be my last FCA ever! This same exact issue was in my 19Ram1500 Limited. I was driving home from the gym this morning and I took my right hand cupped it and went under the leather where it meets the frame. Its a very simple maneuver . Well what I found most of the plastic clips that "cup" the steel seat frame are all off the frame dangling. It is easy to see on the front corners of your drivers seat while outside the vehicle pull the leather in the corner up and you will see the loose seat clip. Look at the passenger seat, that may also be just hanging there. I'm 6' and 165Lb. and my clips are loose. A heave guy or lady will loosen all of them. I just repaired my drivers seat myself. I have lots of experience as a teen working on couches, chairs and foot stools. My fix is the same I did on my Ram. on the Jeep I pulled the corners up and the clip was visible. I brought the leather up as much as I could and then carefully I drilled a hole into the frame. I punched a small hole in the mid section of the clip and fed the zip tie through both pieces. I aligned the plastic clip back in its proper place ad pulled the zip tightly. That will never get loose again. When I get time I'll look at the passenger seat too. If yours are loose and you take it to the dealer be sure they use zip ties. If not and they just reclip the leather, the first time you sit and get out of the car it will be hanging again. This Jeep is the worst 70K I ever spent. At the top of the picture you will see the black zip tie holding the clip in place.
