Dealership Issues

My 2021 GCL has been at a Southeast Wisconsin dealer since 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday. It has not been repaired or even looked at because according to the service writer the Jeep computer system is down and they need it to diagnose the issues I have, one of which is the transmission.

Does anyone in the group have their L's at a dealer right now and have heard this line of B.S.? Any advice on who or how to contact Jeep?

They have replied to every PM i have sent asking for help. You must just not be very nice.
That gobley gook you get from Jeep hardly constitutes a reply. All they do is patronize and kick the can down the road, nice or not.
Anyway I’ll just continue to put up with this bucket of bolts till my new non Jeep product arrives.

“since 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday” as in the same week?

You know this is the GC “L” forum, not the Grand Wagoneer forum right? Some of us “L” peasants have been without a vehicle for weeks and months. Some tortured souls have endured months of visits to the local kingdom of Jeep, been given a second vehicle as replacement, and still have been plagued by the “L” curse…. Some have even sued and was refunded.

When you have service techs driving a loaner vehicle to a grand wagoneer owners house and picking up/diagnosing, they certainly don’t have time for your Jeep Liberty or whatever that L thing you drive is…

Real service starts at $88K, poorly equipped. Read here…

Ps, their scan tools do not need internet access to diagnose/function. They need the internet for software downloads and updates as they check vin against a database for options allowed/versions, etc. The licensing is physical and local. The scan tool units can be in PC/laptop or tablet form and mobile to collect data. I doubt they have the right tools or no bodies to use the tools. Either way I think it’s BS as only your dealer appears impacted, not North America. Maybe it’s true, who knows, maybe Jeep used “password” for their real website password and it’s hacked? stupidity truly has no limits. My shortest path to resolution involved going a different path, YMMV.
