Center Console not "Centered"

Anyone else have a center console armrest that rubs passenger seat bolster when its raised up? I have good clearance between driver's seat cushion and bolster, but virtually no clearance on passenger side! Going to have service tech look at it--maybe there is an adjustment to "center" the center console, but poor fit and finish on this item.

Mine has a gap on driver side i can fit my hand in between and passenger side is tight - no rubbing but it is oddly off center

Seems like this is common. On the Facebook groups someone posted a Jeep document with a fix if an owner complains. Dealer has to remove the console, modify some parts, and reinstall. Seemed more likely to cause problems than prevent to me.

Take a look at this bulletin...I'd rather deal with a minor rub than having the whole thing disassembled.

Sad thing is that this even happened on a $60k vehicle. It’s like they assume nobody would notice. Jeep…. If your gonna play with the big guys, better pony up. If this was on the new Wagoneer, they’d get their asses handed to them on social media.

Mine is off-center and rubs the passenger seat. My service advisor told me they reached out to jeep but jeep didn't have a fix.

Mine rubs a bit on passenger seat. Doesn’t really bother me at this point, but I may change my mind

Make sure you read what's involved in the adjustment. It seems pretty involved, with the potential to cause more problems than it fixes.
