Car play ..phone calls not working

Anyone’s car play work fine except for phone calls ? Google maps/apple/Waze works fine, iTunes/Spotify work fine, Phone calls and timer starts indicating phone call is live but no sound. Tried to un-pair/pair and tried wired vs wireless.

Yep! tried to use it for the 1st time this weekend

Tried via Bluetooth and wired - nota

Did a little googling and it is a common car play problem

1st solution - Remove my old car from my phone and it worked today for me.

2nd - try and pair another phone - if it works it’s a problem with your phone - do an update

3rd - if neither phone works it’s a problem with the Jeep - run an update, if that doesn’t do anything take to Jeep

This happened to me. IPhone 12 Pro, I had to update my phone, unpair and reset the Uconnect system to factory settings (found in settings of Uconnect), then repair. I have not had any issues since.

I got mine fixed by uninstalling/reinstalling.

However it confuses the computer often - the audio mostly. XM will just turn off and not come back on for at least a minute. Also when I get a phone call it isn't lowering the A/C - fan so no one can hear me or i have to yell over it...
