Auto stop/start issue

It has been a month now since my GCL was in the shop for the stop start not working. They kept the jeep for three days doing all sorts of tests and couldn't find anything that was not allowing the battery to charge above 60% state of charge. We never did have the issue where the battery went completely dead like many are having. They changed the battery and knock on wood everything is working fine.

My start/stop stopped working after about 1,000 miles and hasn't been working for a couple of months. Most of my trips are short, but I occasionally take a 45 minute trip. I took a 6 hour trip last week and it started working again.

Consider it a blessing the start-stop isn't working. I wish mine didn't work.

I agree. But it is a sign of battery drain issues and bad batteries many are experiencing. In my case the battery would never get charged above 60% state of charge for the stop start to work. Even after driving the car all day.

I wish mine never worked. I always hit the deactivating button. I truly hate this feature. My 19 WK Limited X w/ 5.7 didn’t have this “feature”.
