any POSITIVE posts?

3+ weeks in, over 1100 miles and I couldn't be more pleased with it (Grand Cherokee Sumit Reserve with every option available including the Hemi). I've owned 4 premium BMW cars (2 M5s, a Z4M and my last was a M6 convertable; all fully loaded) and that was amoung 30+ other cars/pickups over the years. I place the fit and finish and material quality right up there with any other upper end vehicle I've owned.

I’m still continually being refused service. Jeep customer care transferred me directly to another service manager and he directly refused service again, after Jeep set up the call. I’m so done.

So how is tnis a positive post? There are plenty of threads about issues where you can complain. I'm willing to bet the ratio of trouble free GC owners far exceeds 90% but the forums are where people come to complain and search for answers. The thread was titled "any POSITIVE posts" not "let's start another complaint post" When a thread turns negative, the people with positive experiences will go away, killing the thread. That's my opinion on the matter, let's keep thisone positive.

I just found “easy exit” option on the radio for the seat to slide back giving you more room to enter and exit the vehicle, like I said I keep finding new things I didn’t even know I had haha

I am only on my second tank of gas, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but overall the experience with my 2022 GCL SR has been positive.

There are some quality control issues which I cannot explain, and they will need to continue to improve in this area to properly compete in the luxury segment with regards to the upper level trims. Have I had any issues at all? Yes. Are any of the issues which I have personally experienced to day make me regret the purchase of the vehicle? So far, no.

If you are looking at an upper level trim, I think it's worth calling out that this is not a true luxury car - you get a pretty good value, but it's not on quite on par with something like Genesis GV80, an Acura GX, or the German manufacturers yet. I will say that I have noticed large improvements with the MY22 over the MY21 in terms of body panel alignment and even paint, which gives me hope that things could continue to improve over time, but unfortunately it will be a while before we know for sure.

With regards to negative threads, there are a few who legitimately have lemons and are rightfully upset. However, there are also a fair number of threads which I feel are attributed to user error, or had overly high expectations which perhaps were instilled by sales people or just high hopes, which turned out to be false.

My advice, if you can find a vehicle of the trim you want, test drive it. Then do it again. And one more time. Do this until you find something(s) that is a little weird. Every vehicle has at least one of these, and it's not necessarily a deal breaker, but it usually means you've gotten a good sense for how the vehicle drives and all the features function well enough that you can confidently decide either to buy one, or find something else.

Does the finish of my 2022 GCSR equal that of my previous BMW cars (two M5s and my last an M6 convertable)... no, not quite. I will put it above a Genesis sedan I recently rode in though. And comparing a $73K GCSR to a $135K BMW M6 convertable isn't fair. But the finish is at least 75% to 85% and in a vehicle of half the cost. And I wouldn't have thought about taking my M cars off the pavement. I'm a completely satisfied/happy owner.

No real complaints from me, just got back last week from a 3K mile road trip to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Only hiccup was having to force restart Uconnect one time on the return trip, other than that it performed great. The active assist and adaptive cruise control really have me looking forward to full autonomy in the future. I even got to test the handling in pretty heavy snow around Cloudcroft for about 150 miles and snow mode worked flawlessly.

My 22 GCL SR V6 has been perfect so far this year, couldn't be happier, a couple minor things here and there but i would expect much worse from any other manufacturer

Really happy with my 2022 GC Summit, so far. I've found a few minor issues (mostly with the radio) but overall the car has been solid.

Gotta remember that most people who are content with their cars aren't going to go out of their way to hang out on internet forums. :p

I received my JGC SR last week and have truly enjoyed it. No issues to speak of, the HEMI mileage is as expected - roughly 15mpg in city driving. As I have a '21 Wranger, '21 JGC High Altitude and this is my 8th GC since 2013, I am blown away by the level of fit and finish on the new interior. I sold my 2021 BMW X5 M50i - a $103k MSRP, and while the performance doesn't compare - that truck had a 523 hp TT V8 - and the handling is not the same, again, not what I expected from Jeep anyways, the brakes, steering feel and NVH is impressive. I also think the tech, while a little buggy still is quite good. When i switch between the wife's '21 JGC and mine, its hard to believe that they are both GCs.

For those that have faced electrical gremlins such as a light coming on for Service 4WD or Air suspension, etc. Before you go crazy and call the dealer, take a deep breath, turn off the car and restart. At home, you have to reboot a PC from time to time, these vehicles are rolling computers, why should it be any different.

2022 GCLL and I have to say I am in love with this car, inside and out. I have had a couple hiccups, but driving this car is pure pleasure. Also, I get compliments on it all the time.
