Any orders placed yet?

I should also mention that I was told I am not being charged the destination fee as the car isn’t going to sit on the lot. Basically once it is idelivered to the dealer I am going to pick it up. If for whatever reason I do not want to accept the delivery, they will put it on the lot where they will tack on the destination charge to the next buyer. If this is always the case, then I can see myself ordering the exact vehicle I want from here on out.
I’ve never heard of that before.

I wonder why the 22 Ls are going out so smoothly and most of the 22 2-rows are waiting for parts?

Has anybody placed an order yet for the WL74?
Yes I ordered a 2022 Summit (WL74) yesterday. Got it with groups IV & V and the passenger screen. Got it for $500 below invoice at Shively Jeep, Chamberburg, Pa. Great people. They even gave me vehicle lifetime state inspection and up to 4 oil/filter changes. Problem is I'll have to wait for 2-3 months to get it.

On 12/3, I ordered a 2022 Limited 4x4, Velvet Red Pearlcoat. The only option I added was the 10.1 Uconnect.

MSRP: $48,895
FWP/Invoice: $47,306
I will pay: $44,647 + $899 processing fee = $45,366

That is the exact vehicle, at the exact price, that I ordered. Except mine's Baltic gray. Koons Jeep in VA, by chance?

You got it! I have been reading the JL Wrangler forums for years, and people seem to have good things to say about Koons.

Might be parts, might just be the fact they are just starting two row production, where they've been making the L's for quite a while, and just making minor changes as they switch over to '22.

12/10/21 Jeep chat says my vehicle is in paint!!

10/23/21 2022 SR V8 2-row WL74 ordered
10/27/21 VIN was recieved

I'm crying foul!! I ordered mine on 10/18 and still in D1 (as of a couple days ago), so hopefully mine isn't too far behind. Last update is it was scheduled to ship on the 18th, so might be getting close.

I would check again. It may have already started to be built. I last checked Jeep chat on Wednesday 12/8/21 and I was still in D1 and now I checked today (12/10/21) and it was already in paint. But based on with my order and others I’m seeing hopefully yours starts soon too

Also, the dealer I ordered from is a pretty high volume dealer and from what I understand that can play a role in how quickly you receive your order. Hopefully you get some updates soon!

I’m right with you tnedator. I checked with Jeep chat today and my status is the same (D1) I ordered on Oct 8th. Last week my dealer told me that the scheduled showed a ship date of Dec 16th. I’ll be following up with my dealer tomorrow.

What forum? I will say I was called from one dealer associate who said that I could order a 4xe and then when I called back and talked to the manager he said it was not available and had no date or information.

I checked with Jeep chat last night and they were still showing D1 (didn't call it that, but said all parts available, waiting to be scheduled or something like that). Last update from dealer was ship Dec. 18th, and even that isn't hit, my guess is that it will be in paint within next few days. Might text dealer on Mon/Tues for an update.

Mine was ordered early October. Jeep chat says it is awaiting installation of additional equipment. Hope it is released soon.
