4G Att signup not working

Hello,
Having major problems signing up for WiFi hotspot service through att. Get all the way through the process and gives me an error right at registration. Spent HOURS on the phone with Att and keep customer care. No resolution in sight. Really upset about this. Anyone else having problems.

Have them check the IP address of your unit. AT&T may know this already.
They have. They found my iccid and imei number as well. Could be the first year that Uconnect has been merged with the JEEP app. Nobody has answers for me. Was hoping somebody signed up for this service but I cannot find anything.

On my Gladiator the IP address was transposed. Took weeks to get corrected. AT&T are the ones that found it. Dealer had it for a total of two weeks. Could not get the Uconnect app to update. Everything was fine for 6 months. Then an update and wiped out my service.

Wow. I will call Att again today and touch base with the dealer about this. What was the fix? Hard reset? Did Att fix it?

AT&T found this. When my Uconnect app stopped working. I started my hotspot service again. They could not get into it. I had service previously. But an update messed it up. Jeep cares also helped out. I was without for about 4 months. The Uconnect app functions did not work. That’s when I decided to get the AT&T service again. Only took a few days after that. But they did this over the air.
Do you have Uconnect app connection?

The 2021 jeep grand Cherokee L does not have Uconnect support. Everything is through the new jeep app starting with this model. Thats why this has been such a pain. Whenever I called Uconnect they sent me direct to att. You sign up for jeep connected services then you call att.

What is the benefit of making the vehicle a hotspot when cell phones can already do that? Just curious what the benefit is.
