3rd Row Powered seat not lowering all the way

Picked up my GCL Summit Reserve last night. After I got home the 3rd row seat on the left doesn’t lower all the way when pushing the powered seat lowering button. It worked fine at the dealership. There is nothing I can see obstructing the seats ability to lower all the way. It goes down about 90% of the way and then stops while the right seat lowers all the way. Thoughts?

Are your second row seats slid all the way back?
It makes no difference if the second row seats are slid all the way forward or back. I get the same pattern with the seats as shown in the picture. Before I left the dealership the seats would both go all the way down even with the second row all the way back.

Have you brought this to the attention of your dealer yet? If not, we recommend doing so. If you need additional assistance while there, please don't hesitate to reach out to us in private message.

We picked our Summit Reserve up two weeks ago and move those seats up and down all the time with no issues. I would definitely reach out to the dealer.

Update. I took it in for service today (9/14/21). Before addressing the 3rd row seat on folding down all the way, there were 4 RRTs (which I’m told are something like safety rapid recalls their system has before they go out to the general public) that were updated:

1. RRT21-084 Inspect Radio Version
2. RRT21-099 Update DTCM module
3. RRT21–110 Update TCM module and PCM module
4. RRT21-121 Inspect rear head rest cables

After these 4 updates, they went to address the 3rd row seats and found they were correctly calibrated and folded down appropriately. So I guess these updates fixed the issue with the back seats somehow although the technician wasn’t sure how the updates would have done that. I guess it’s better to be lucky than good?

I got my GCL from the dealer today and they did the exact same 4 issues; turns out the DTCM and TCM were done before delivery.

On the summit reserve with the center console, is there a way to "fold it" to lay flat? Can someone send pictures?

I seriously thought I figured out everything am out this vehicle. Learned something new. We actually bought our Thule before we had the cross bars and to take it home and put it in the back, I put something over that middle console to protect it. Now I know how to do it better. Thanks!

Excellent! Glad I was able to help. Enjoy your Thule and a flat space in the back for many trips to come!

Thanks for the pictures, thats what I thought it did. Is the rear console "open" when its laid flat? If your moving landscaping stuff would junk fall in the bin?

Yes, it is open. The big bin in it opens from the back and the smaller bin on top of it opens from the front. Yes, unless you cover the big opening, stuff would fall into it.

Anyone know if the 2022 will have the option to choose center console in second row or not even in higher trims?
