I have owned GCL since September and have not received any messages about any type of OTA update. Feel like I should have gotten something by now. Have done the recall updates at dealership. Any input on the OTA stuff?

Yes I had the same problem but it only heated up on the driver side with the heat on. Phone overheated as well. Did it 3 different times within a couple weeks. When I took it in, they couldn’t recreate it. It has now been in shop a couple weeks so don’t have any updates.

Just curious Sarge: where have you seen the info that some have received defective hardware? That’s the first time I’ve seen that posted.

I have recently had numerous problems with my GCL and have been in contact with Jeep Wave. Are you guys essentially the same thing or should I be speaking with you as well. Just trying to figure out this whole process. Thank you.

Have an appointment next week for this and many other issues to be checked out so hopefully will get to bottom of it. In the back of my mind, I’m just wondering if somehow that heat is causing some of the other issues as it can’t be good for that console to be heating up like that.
