A fix for me, hopefully for some others?!

I have a 21 limited GCL and have had many of the same electrical problems as many others on this forum including auxiliary battery drain causing start/stop to not work. Had recalls and updates done, dealer techs investigated to no avail and then computer completely wigged out one day. Master tech was puzzled and was gonna open a STAR case but did a “deep dive” first and found a blown multi function fuse that he believed had been cracked earlier. Replaced it and to date, everything is functioning well, not perfectly yet but well. Part #68498509AA. Hoping that may help others out there.

Interesting. Mine's in for a multitude of electrical problems. I'll share this with the dealer. Thanks!

Hard to believe there can be as many problems as reported here. Is it as bad as it sounds or are we just seeing the bad apples?

Seems like so many similar issues that it is either systemic design issues or sabotage!

I could swear I bought a flood damaged vehicle (and they did have a huge flood last spring). Mine was built in August/September, so I doubt that's the case, but the problems are that prolific and bizarre. And unbelievably, no one from Jeep corporate will respond to much of anything, nor will they offer any reparations for this utterly ruined major purchase experience. Nothing.

I'd say the electrical problems could be related to some deep electrical defect that's causing things to fail and behave oddly, but then there's all kinds of rattles, the HVAC is FUBAR, etc etc. It's like Yugo-level quality control. If there even is any. People are having driveshafts fail because bolts were missing. Dented hatches, malformed panels, on and on and on. The depreciation is going to be like Range Rover on these.
