Isn't drowsy driver detection only avail if you are a late model that had the camera installed above the steering wheel?

In the video below fast forward to about 50 seconds in. Also you can adjust the sensitivity of the system. They are all defaulted to Far, in your case maybe try adjusting it down one notch and see how that works.

That’s what I’m saying. Same controller is on the gladiator and it’s plug n play, no software updates required (assuming you have trailer tow package and wiring harness from the factory, which some do NOT). Looks like the harness is behind the dash on left side when you open the drivers door...
