Yup as this is what happened with mine. Now just waiting for it to ship to my dealer.

Sorry to hear about the replacement, hopefully this one works out better for you.
Do check with your dealer today, there is a shipment ETA date in the system and they will provide it. Jeep Chat just won’t give it for whatever reason and says it’s not in the system, but it is.

I’m in Trim this morning.
12/11: Framing
12/12 and 12/13: Paint
12/13: Trim
Shipment ETA was 12/23, dealer says it was updated to 1/7 after build started. My backend contact says nothing about ETA. I was told until it’s built, inspected and released to shipping and they enter a date in system he won’t know any ETAs.

I have had my build sheet for 4 weeks now,,, no sticker stick in JB status since 11/22
I just checked and I’m still in trim. I have been in trim since at least Saturday (I didn’t check on Friday so I may have been there then too).
Yesterday my dealer showed my ship date as being today.
I’m very quickly discovering this “system” is random, sporadic and unreliable.

Regarding the ship date…earlier it was 12/15 then it was bumped to 1/7 and then yesterday back to today. I’ll check later today and see where it has randomly been updated to.

6 emails to the GM at the dealer no calls or emails back.. facebook messenger I was told I would be getting a call nothing, Jeep chat gave me a case number last week told they would be in contact nothing, I see a trend.. lol
Unfortunately you have a weird case. You wont get a sticker until the 3rd party installs your steps. When JB status moves to KZ

Looks like I'm just 2 days behind you and strange that trim is taking a few days to complete. I wouldn't have expected that. Good-ish news on the bump back OUT of a 1/7 ship date. Hopefully that was just some stupid computer generated date as was explained to me by another Jeep guy over Wrangler production. Do keep us updated on the build. I will be checking with my dealer today too just to see if that 1/7 date is gone off mine too.

Update as of this morning - It's shipped with ETA date 
Ordered a 2022 GCL Summit Reserve with the V8 on 11/6
11/10 had a VIN and Status was D-Firm schedule serial number is assigned
11/15 Jeep Chat said "Your vehicle is in scheduling with parts being gathered. No Dealer ETA yet"
11/20 Jeep Chat said "All of the materials needed to start the build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process shortly. No Dealer ETA yet."
11/30 Jeep Chat said same thing as 11/20
12/1 Update: Jeep Chat said "I can see all the required materials for your vehicle have been gathered and the plant has sequenced your order for production, it should be entering the build anytime now!"
12/2 Update: Dealership emailed today and said "the estimated ship date is 12/07/21"
12/6 @ 7:00 AM - Jeep Chat says "Vehicle is currently in the frame stage of the build process."
12/7 @ 7:00 AM - Jeep Chat says "you GCL is in the build stage currently in the paint part of the build."
12/8 @ 7 am - Jeep Chat says "Your vehicle has been built and is pending installation of additional equipment. This is necessary step when additional features or optional equipment packages are added to the vehicle. Currently no Dealer ETA."
12/10 @ 7 am - Jeep Chat said "Your order has been released from the factory and was approved for shipping. Shipping arrangements have not been completed yet but it should be leaving soon!"
12/14 @ 7 am – Jeep Chat said: “your vehicle is in the shipping stage, in transit to your ordering dealership. Your delivery to dealership ETA window is: 12/23/2021 - 01/04/2022 At this time, we can suggest checking back at the start of your ETA window, for an update on your order, and staying in touch with your ordering dealership.”

so not sure or true, my neighbor retired Jeep guy from Detroit.. said JB means they take the jeep to a local dealer to add accessories, off site, he again guessing said they are probably swamped but not 3 weeks swamped..
I cant see how any dealer could handle that volume of add ons... he was pretty pissed and upset that I am going thru this.. who knows

Got VIN pretty quickly within the next 2 weeks.
In D since Oct 22nd.
11/19: All materials needed have been received.
11/26: D1, Ship date 12/9
12/7: being built, in frame

12/14: In shipping status, no dealer ETA.

I ordered back in August. Vin came in Sept and was told then it was flipped to a 22. Still in D1 for me while others ordered later are being moved to shipping status. Who knows how it works. There have been thousands of F150s scattered on Ford lots in Dearborn MI for two years now so I’m sure these logistical issues are not specific to Jeep. For now, I will continue this exercise in patience….
thats the status that I am in now. Said it's been shipped and in route to the dealership. Yesterday it said that the ETA is 12/23 - 1/6. Today the ETA IS 12/22 - 1/4. The Train ETA will be all over the place until it gets much closer. Don't rack your brain on it too much. I would just expect it towards the tail end.
Same details as you have except mine was ordered 7/13. In OH and dealer says it's waiting to be shipped.
There doesn’t seem to be any sort of order to Jeep’s madness. Vehicles seem to be being built and shipped willy-nilly with no regard to order date or “priority”. I thought when I got into the build process mine would finally start moving. But yet again I was wrong. Mine has been stuck in “trim” for 4 days now. (Sarcasm ahead) Boy I’m glad mine has been given priority due to being a buy back. (Sarcasm ended) My build is not getting any sort of priority, if anything I seem to have pissed someone off. But as has been said before, there’s not a damn thing we can do about any of this. I still think they need to change JeepCares to JeepDon’tGiveADamn.
I thought there were only a few of us still waiting for 21’s. Its seems, by the responses above, like there are a lot of us! My original ship date was 11/23. Finally built and window sticker 12/2. I ordered the weather tech floor mats and they came today! No vehicle to put them in though!
