I'm in the same boat.Well not good news. The limited model can not be ordered with the Lux package, which we knew, but any that have been ordered and not scheduled yet have been pushed back with no ETA at the moment. My salesman was informed that one option would be to move up to a Overland as that has many of the features standard and they can take orders for that. A few problems with doing that are once Pro Tech group III package it adds the lux group IV and removed the 2nd row bench seats. The second row bench was a must, oh and on top of all that it raises the price by $7K. Now we have to figure out which route we want to go
So did you get a shipping update?Nope
Has a ship date of 6/15 so we shall see
That's exactly what I'm saying. When the dealer goes to build a Limited with the Lux Tex Group II the system will not let them add it. The dealer order that I put a deposit on was ordered prior to that but but the time is passed the order inspection it got stuck in status BG which stands for "order has passed edit but not considered for scheduling". I was told because of the shortage.Sorry for the redundant question, but are you saying that Jeep are not building any Limiteds with the Luxury Tech Group II package because of the chip shortage? That - along with a few additional add-ons - is exactly what I've been obsessing over for months!
Wow. That's unfortunate, and I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with this. That's exactly what I'm saying. Interestingly enough, I've seen a few L's pop up on dealer websites that appear to include the Lux Group II package (for example). Given the price point, the list of features, and the fact that there is a VIN number, it seems that some Limited models with Lux II have been set aside for dealer allocations.
