Swapped bumper with no receiver for bumper with receiver then dealership called to refund me the bumper cost because I was lied to and said it couldn’t be added. They are paying for the factory wiring and installing it for me as well.

I did the same thing. Those back two bolts were a pain in the rear

how’d you guys get a whole bumper? most folks can’t even get floor mats.
My bumper came with plastic door already. And then I just had to call around to dealers in my area northern NJ for the hitch receiver. It took like a week for it to come in.

Just watched a YouTube on these things, I can’t believe the amount of junk stuck in there. Any concerns about voiding warranty? I know the cans can be removed if need be.
Perhaps if you install it backwards lol but even that’s pretty hard to do because many catch cans can accept flow from either side. Bottom line: if ur plannin on keeping this thing into the 60-70k+ range, and are capable of setting a reminder in ur phone to empty it every few weeks, i wouldnt go without it. Ive personally scrubbed the intake valves on a truck with only 22k miles but no CC. Took a full day to clean and my back was broken for a week lol

Installed catch can from wife’s 3.6l WK2. Believe it or not, theres a threaded hole in the crash bar tailor made for it haha. Never get this lucky! And yes its filling up quickly as all pentastars ive seen.
I just found this catch can company online before seeing it’s the one you installed…did the included hoses fit properly? The install looks super easy on YouTube.

They can all be added for a couple thousand dollars. I’m just having the wiring added. I already put the hitch/receiver/bumper on myself. Supposedly the vehicles with auto stop/start already have the 180amp alternator let me know if you need some step by step bumper remove install images. I have already sent them to a few others. Just PM me your email

I added the factory/mopar towing bumper and their factory wiring. Auto leveling has no impact on towing capacity. It is the gross vehicles weight and brakes ability to stop the 6200 pounds. Which it can. Air the other stuff is just bells and whistles.

I thought it had something to do with cooling. Factory tow gets HD cooling (whatever that means, maybe bigger rad, trans cooler, i dunno)

Cooking would help but if it came with bigger brakes that would be best. What’s the chances of people maxing out a GCL if you are pulling that weight should have bought a truck. Even trucks that pull 1/2 ton trucks pull 12,000 these days but would be crazy to max out constantly. I’m not saying people won’t pull 5-6k but will they do it all day everyday or is it just a weekend camper trip or boat haul.

Terrain also plays a big factor in towing. 6200lbs on flat ground along most of the east coast I95 corridor is very different than the hills in PA, KY, TN, or CO.

Never saw this post -sorry! I had to use a longer hose to reach the rear of the engine ($5 heater hose at Ace). For those of you on the fence, here’s proof of how much accumulates in about 5-600 miles. 33419C8E-AE9E-4EE5-A5D0-7850FC471F69.jpeg

I have that controller in my JT. Nothing beats it.
I havent had a chance to tow anything with this truck yet. I have a 16ft enclosed cargo trailer and use my Durango SRT for that, but I put this in just in case we go away and want to take some 4 wheelers with us.
