WL74 option packages

That is amazing to me. I am SURE that option is available since the 2022 user manual addresses it. Actually, in my process of searching for a deal on a WL74 Summit (8 dealers), I was told the passenger screen option was not available. I provided the build code for it and they said...oh yes, it is an option. Those dealers are obviously idiots!!! JMO

When ordering my 22 GCL SR V8 my dealership told me that the passenger screen wasn't available. I had to educate him (nicely of course) about their own vehicle and that's it a standard feature for the SR. Seems like a salesman would research what they sale better.

Both things can be true. There are dealers that are really bad and put no time into learning about new models.
But also it doesn't matter a manual shows a feature, it may not be available on the ordering screen.
Passenger screen was not available as of recent, only the SR package has it included. All other trims dont show the option when ordering.
Things change, and allocations open. Its possible now its available but not when you ordered.

Update with the 4xe: Just stopped by my dealership in Maryland first thing when they opened and spoke to a manager. They say no 4xe’s are able to be ordered at all. They say there is no precedent for one dealer to be able to order something that anouther can’t; like orders do not roll out by region or something. So I remain very confused if people on here can order 4xe’s.

Actually, they found out they can. Was in some other tab on their ordering system. The guy who actually orders their cars came in and helped. I got my VON now! Silver SR 4xe here I come!!!!! Whenever it delivers. Haha

Called my dealership today but found myself trying to explain the difference between the GC and GCL and hung up. Does anyone know if the off-road group is available on the overland trim yet? I'm still holding out for a trail-rated Overland.

You said you were looking for “all the options,” but my current understanding is that at least two options—the rear entertainment screen and the “hands-free“ version of active driving assist—are “late availability.” Did you attempt to order either of those?

There seems to be some confusion in this thread over the entertainment screens—my understanding is the passenger screen is currently available as an option (and is standard on Summit Reserve), while the rear entertainment screen option is not yet available.

Well, if you want a passenger screen on a 2022 WL74 Summit...order it. If the dealer says it's not available tell him the code is RJA and the sticker price is $1095....invoice is $986. Got some real lazy salesman out there. Need to educate them.

I did not, they were not line items in their ordering system. I ordered the Pro Tech and Advanced Tech packages. I would have taken the Hands Free....but idk if I am willing to wait if the hands on is pretty good. The hands free is not even an option on the 4xe configurator on jeep.com. I only see it on the v6 engine WL's. Part of me is hoping though it could be an after-the-fact option for WL's with the drowsiness detection feature. As I am told that adds that DOT projector on the top of the steering column that i'd assume is the crucial hardware feature for hand's off. Ford's Blue Cruise was like that...where it ended up being a feature people can install after the fact.

Thanks. I’m waiting for the hands-free, but if I knew I could add it when available, I’d order a 4xe Summit Reserve tomorrow!

I think you missed the point. While there are lazy salesmen, most of them will tell you what they can see.
Things changed, allocations happen.
The passenger screen was added recently, probably on the recent monthly allocation. It was not available in October or November, except for the SR package.

Is the passenger display an available option for the WL74 '22 Trailhawk or Overland trims? I'm getting mixed signals depending on where I look...

Based on the Jeep build and price it's not listed under standard features like the Summit Reserve nor is it listed as an option.

According to the “Feature Availability” docs at https://stellantis-na-product-media...e-grand-cherokee-srt-grand-cherokee-trackhawk it’s an available option for everything but Laredo. (That particular document, though, doesn’t distinguish between “currently available” and “late availability“ options.)

Can anyone tell me the pricing of 4xe? I want to order one, but no way I’m doing it blind. My dealer said they didn’t have pricing on it yet even though you can order one. Are people actually placing an order without knowing the price?

No pricing yet, most of us are going on the assumption it will be about $4500 more then regular GC and will be offset by $7500 tax credit if it doesn’t get change.

The way I logic it; is if you can afford a Hemi GC plus maybe an extra grand, then you should be ok.

This is from the Stellantis ordering code guide dated 12/14 for the WLJS74 options. The off road group is marked late availability. Perhaps why the company car system won't let us order a Trailhawk.
