New to forum - appreciate any insight!
long story short, went to a local dealership around 10 days ago and asked about the 3 row summit reserve. Salesman worked up a pricing sheet with V8 and a couple of the luxury tech packages. Total was around $71k not including sales tax and doc fees. Didn’t buy anything since I wanted to test drive. Fast forward to today - had same guy work up a number again and all the items were surcharged. MSRP car alone up around $2k, V8 up $500, both luxury pro tech packages up around $300 combined. The customer preferred package on the pricing sheet up $500 (not exactly sure what that is). Total increase around $3500 - nothing new was added to the vehicle.
Anyways I asked him about it and he said they (Chrysle) recently just bumped everything due to demand - does this seem accurate?
Didn’t get anything today either. Told him Jeep.com pricing still reflected the lower pricing for the options. He said if you go to any dealership they will have the same higher prices now. Thoughts? I guess I could go to the other one close by but I think they are mutually owned. Thanks for your replies.
