Wife scratched the rim…

Well, 2 weeks in and my black rim already has a battle wound! My wife needed to haul some books around town, so I took her Nissan Rouge for the day, and she took the L. I VERY calmly asked her one thing…”please don’t scratch my rims” in the most non-confrontational way. Sure enough, she tells me she hit a curb as she was backing out from the bank. All I could do was laugh in disbelief! Anyway…any suggestions on the best way to touch this up?

Sorry for ur loss. I let my wife go through a drive thru 4 days after purchase while i walked the dog (roadtrip) and the paint on my 21” SR wheel was left on the inside curb at Zaxbys haha

Man, I feel for you. Sorry to hear that! I'm dreading the day my wife has to drive mine anywhere.
It’s coming…😂 Maybe don’t say anything at all. I may have thrown that bad energy my wife’s way and jinxed it!

Don’t laugh but I think you might have good luck with black nail polish. You can try touch up paint as well but nail polish works remarkably well. It has a decent brush with it and comes in so many colors you can probably find a match. Then when your done you use rubbing compound after the polish is dry to help blend in. I had a long scratch down the side of my black car before that didn’t go to the metal but looked white. It took three tries to get the right shade of black. After I was done you couldn’t tell it was ever scratched. You could wet sand but I’d do that as a last ditch effort because I’m sure there is a special finish on the rims I wouldn’t want to damage.
