Weird button

Does anyone know what this button does? Th one pictured attached with the A and circle arrow on it.

It’s fully clickable and lights up but does not seem to do anything or signal anything when pressed on the dash or display. I’m trying to understand if this is not functioning for my vehicle or what?

I thought it was the auto turn off and start feature when at a red light but if so it’s not working.

I have a limited. Appreciate your help.

Thanks!

You are right. It’s the Auto Start/Stop Off Switch.

Yes, it is indeed the Auto Start/Stop off switch. There are many conditions that need to be met before this function will work. Your owners manual is a wonderful thing to read.........

The auto start/stop only works if the battery is fully charged. This isn't a jeep thing. it's the same for any vehicle that has the start/stop feature - i.e., Audi, MB, Btw. etc.hope this helps...

Mine keeps saying “not ready-heating/cooling in use”

Again, it is 20 degrees here so no issue on my part, I don’t care for the feature.

I don't know this - but if I were to offer a guess, what the display is stating is: "The battery isn't big enough for the auto start/stop to work" (when the heating/cooling is in use). I'm sure once it's warmer, it'll work.

My didn t work for the first month, (in late Aug), took it to the dealership and they said it works. Just have to have a/c off while driving.
