Ordered my wife's GCSR on 12-22-21 this week it was built and went to JB status sent to vendor for accessories, hope to get a ship date soon, was told originally that it could be 5 months total, think it will be sooner than that but we will see, this is the third GC we have ordered since 2014 and have not had 1 issue so far, great vehicles for us so far.
I ordered my 2022 JGC Trailhawk on 1/24. I received a VIN shortly after. Jeep Chat is still telling me the same thing as yours, but your dealership will have more detail. They are showing a 3/15 "estimated ship date" for me. Jeep Chat can't see that. So I recommend you reach out to them. I was initially told a 9-12 week build timeline, so we are in week 6. Week 10 would be beginning of April, so if it ships on 3/15, that would make sense for a delivery date. I reach out to my dealership once a week for updates.

Nope. I assume it won’t be built until shortly before it ships out.

Ordered my 2 row summit on 12/9 and it's still in D1 (awaiting build) status. Obviously, my estimated ship date of 3/14 is very doubtful. I was originally told it could take 2-3 month. Yeah sure!!
Wow!! Who did you payoff and how much did it take?
It was actually 9 weeks, and the dealer had said it would be 7-9 weeks, so I wasn't surprised. I realize some folks are waiting longer.
